Don't worry. You got the 600 ppl bonus. If it goes down that is because of credit cards being declined but when that happens we either run it again or Allen from support contacts that person to get another card and redo it.

I was confirmed that it was 604 now.

Actually the truth is, I have no worries about my drum kits sounding like anybody elses. A good drum kit sound is a good drum kit sound, and even if it is exactly the same as someone elses, the way I play it will be different. As long as it sounds great in the song, and is played to support the song tastefully, then that is all that matters.

In any case, I have been doing audio demos of my favorite kit pieces from my extensive collection of SampleTank, Sonik Synth 2 and other drum libraries. So I will probably find myself using tom sets from other drum kits, when I need a particular sound, even though they won't be quite as playable, without all the velocity layering and round robin features. There are some pretty awesome drums in those earlier collections. I'd prefer to integrate them rather than to abandon them as obsolete.

I wonder if some of those old Sonic Reality kits like "Mutha Kerz" or "Snazzy Kit" actually have multiple samples and velocities that could be used to turn them into more detailed kits? It would certainly not be a bad idea to convert the tom sets, if nothing else, into an IP format that could be used interchangeably with these current kits. But in the meantime, I will make use of them regardless.

Let me tell you. I had a steak taco today that was unbelievable. The tortilla was made fresh right there on the spot and the steak is marinated overnight so it is tender and doesn't even need to be cut! The whole thing melts in your mouth and there's no extras - no cheese, no lettuce and all that stuff. Just the tortilla, steak, lime and salsa... TASTY and FRESH! I wish I had this in Miami. A little taco place.

So, I am enjoying my stay even though I am working... I'm still making hybrid kits and I think I am going to do some extra stuff like Multi template effects (something I didn't even announce but I think everyone will like it). You load up the multi and it has the effects already assigned to the output channels and then when you load in a kit you "merge" so it brings in the new kit samples but the effects processing is already there. A nice extra feature that is useful and QUICK for trying out all sorts of different sounds. Effects set ups ready to go. It'll be cool for the convolution spaces as well (although you can also drag and drop them and even your own right into the plug-in!).

I can picture it. Last time I was there one thing that surprised me was to see vans parked in the street serving tacos in areas where they had nightclubs. People would go up to the van and get their tacos and salsas. And nothing like what they call Mexican food in the US. It was great to go to the van at 2 or 3 AM and have some tasty tacos. Bad for the diet, though
