This is a double CD, all tracks listed above will go on one of the 2 CDs of this double-CD package.

And the order in which they go on the CD (i.e. which song will have which track index) is worked out by the core team.

Early on I think there was a time when it wasn't totally decided to be a 2CD set, so people cautiously assumed there might need to be a vote to see what made it. Also, even when a 2CD was decided for sure, it wasn't clear what the total track time we had was as some people hadn't uploaded their tracks, etc, so it still wasn't clear what would and would not make it.

This weekend was the deadline, and all tracks have been uploaded - so xander now has stated it seems that all 44 tracks in the list will make it and the total time seems about right.

Maybe that is where the vote idea came from, unless he means the track order will be voted on - but I don't think that is true.

Snooky.. I don't think a final decision has been made.. xander was bouncing around a few ideas earlier on... hence why he suggested the vote idea...

the hope was that there would be enough room on two CD's for all the tracks. It maybe that there isn't in which case they'll re-assess the situation then.

Emdot is in charge of compiling the final playlist. We are currently over on time but he is working hard to get some tracks clipped. We Hope to have all tracks included, but let's see what he comes up with first.

no, NEW song submissions were closed much earlier than this past sunday. this past monday the period that, already listed, tracks/musicians had for uploading their track masters ended.

YIKES!!! Just woke up here and back at the console!

I cannot recall ever saying ANYTHING about a vote for the tracks! Maybe it was kicked around but I cannot recall that at all.

As said, we are tring to get EVERY TRACK on the CD that was SUBMITTED BEFORE THE DEADLINE.

Some have already been asked to trim some time from some of their longer pieces, and they have oblidged.

Emdot is currently working on the arrangement of the songs with TOTC and endeavouring to put together a tastefully done segue that we'll all be proud of.

Sorry I've been a bit absent this past few, but I have been working on TWO collabs and needed to take a bit of time there on them.
