Is it now possible to split audio inputs/outputs of components in the modular view? I really need need need this feature ASAP, pretty please!

It's awesome for complex mastering routing and now that there is the VSTi version of XT2 it will be very much needed!

how about a matrix comp or something? I mean, instead of building it into VST comps, maybe a separate comp with automation support would do the trick?

that'd be great jorgen, but i think what bmanic means is splitting stereo pairs to mono.

just did lots of envelope curves as templates in xtc clip format.
they are not saved with xtc clips. {did not work with 1june ext2 as well}

How do I set where my midi out is going to go?
I only see an option for Midi input in the XT2 setup.

Sounds great, it would be genius if you could add something that generates automation info from amplitude and/or frequency content at the different outputs.
With some env follower type controls (attack, decay release, amplitude, inverse), that would be FIRE.

I'm having trouble using a CC to adjust the mixer. I am using my jitter plugin to send a cc and it is learnt fine, but the sliders do not move

works here with nicfit's lfo.

Not forgetting a similar comp for midi...as much as I love all of somas and nicfits midi plugs, I am desperate to be able to use those features in eXT2 Linux.

Ok can i repeat my question. Can somebody tell me if automation record is supposed to be for midi channels only as it doesnt work for me on audio

Actaully, I don't see a way to record automation at all. What is happening is you are recording the CC's that control the VST, not the parameter changes.

Seeing as audio doesn't have CC's... no recording.

Just wait, I bet there will be vst parameter recordign native soon.

Did anyone managed to make the vsti version work in Reaper ?
Unfortunately, I tried twice, it crashed twice.

In Live5, i can load it, but then when i load the synth and try to play it it makes a weird phase/modulating-like noise added to the normal synth's sound. ANd deleting the synth comp changes nothing, the noise is still audible. ANd even deleting the audio out comp keeps the noise active. I have to disable/bypass ext vsti from Live's track to get rid of the noise.

But PLEASE still plan on giving us control of each audio line's level. It is critical for me and I have been sticking it out with XT just because I know it's comming. (my most needed feature!!)
