Seems to me that the EMC23 has been cookin' along without fail for quite a
while now.
What's the "days of work without accident" count?

By my count it's 18 days in a row without any major hitch. The jingles went into a loop for an hour on one occasion but thats about it.runagate wrote:Seems to me that the EMC23 has been cookin' along without fail for quite a

The various shows have all be put into place. The content of each show should become more specialised as each of the presenters tweaks their shows to their own liking.
The show now playing button should always show the current show 'cept when the last song of the previous show is still playing.
Checkout the album art being introduced on the now playing page and a link back to the artists website. Finished most of the KVR and auditorium links and working on the netlabel links now.
We are beginning to focus more on the aestetics of the site now.
We will work on making the texts easier to read etc and make the graphic elements more cohesive.
ps did you check out my remix in the Katrina remix thread?

Beardy's Jazz and Blues Bar is on in an hour.
The show is go!!!!!
The jingles are in place. The tunes are categorised. Everthing is going according to plan. The auto button shows up. Show now playing BEARDYS JAZZ AND BLUES BAR.
Expect old 78's from Archive.org, Creative Commons tunes, and of course KVR and Auditorium favs.
To kick things off the next show at 9:00pm GMT will feature a Charles Mingus special from a rare album I got my mitts on and am ripping now.
Really good stuff. Kinda like a dj mix or a collage in the way it has several tunes written into the compositions.

This what I got in google
Note: this is Vol II
my scans:

over the coming weeks, myself and Beardedone will compile more specific playlists.
So stay tuned!!!!

Ok, is it me or does vol II (I only have v2) feel like a dj mix or a jazz version of the chaos thing? Maybe I'm just obsessed with collage and stuff. But Fables is not a medley but is composed of several more familiar pieces taken out of their original context and even given a political edge.xander wrote:

Maybe fables would make a really good motif within a chaos mix

I will be shutting down the service over the next hour. This is so I can host more than one site on the apache.
If everything goes according to plan, (which it won't)this should be only for a few minutes. If it does go according to plan then the days without a hitch doesn't get reset. So I will wait till I am sure everything is ready.
I'll keep you posted.
