I'm sure you'll get it sorted soon enough. Great work so far.John [Humanoid Sound Sys] wrote:Yup! 'Fraid so.

Don't worry. The expiry date is fixed at the 31st December 2006. I will change this in later versions to allow people to continue using it.arakula wrote:I don't like the fact that installing a newer version doesn't reset the # days left. That's gonna make it impossible for me to test new versions in approx. 2 months. Or what exactly happens after "0 days left"?

After spending part of today playing Scanned Synth I'm impressed at the new type of timbres it can produce. It did crash my older computer a few times when the polyphony was set too high, though.
Dec 31st is plenty of time for me to evaluate this beauty! I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops.

Hello all. I have just posted v0.9.5 on the site (http://www.humanoidsounds.co.uk). This fixes the problem with removing the synth which was crashing some hosts. It is also smaller and more efficient. Also the reverb now works properly and the randomisation is improved.
Cheers.
John.

Awesome! There's randomization!? I can't imagine what that'd do with this complex little bugger.John [Humanoid Sound Sys] wrote:Hello all. I'd like to make a patch bank - will future version be compatible with old patches (from this version) or should I wait?
I love reading the 2 manuals to this thing, I know that's weird, but I find them to be just great.

I don't understand why is there any expiry date ? I just checked again on the site, and it is mentionned nowhere that it is payware/demoware... So why a demmo limitation feature if the thing is free ?John [Humanoid Sound Sys] wrote:Oh and I changed the expiry date to 31st Jan 2007.
It seems absurd to me...

Sounds great. I have no idea how to program it.

Pretty much gotta download and read the docs from the same site as the plug's download. It's... complicated, to say the least.soma wrote:Sounds great. I have no idea how to program it.
