The drums sound wicked, and the leads are fierce...
Anyways, How do you figure out if your processor has the minimum SSE2 requirement? Will these work in Tiger? I think its called tiger,... OS x 10.4.11 and beyond...
Will these work on a 2 or 3 year old MBP?

Intel Core Duos definitely have SSE 2. They first debuted SSE2 on friggin' pentium 4s... I can't imagine any even somewhat modern computer not having it... Unless AMD were slow on the uptake... I really don't know anything about athlons.ckatrun411 wrote:

EDIT: You even have SSE3, so you're good for awhile

All intel macs support SSE2, any Pentium 4 or above and any Athlon above but not including an Athlon XP.ckatrun411 wrote:Anyways, How do you figure out if your processor has the minimum SSE2 requirement? These synths are very exciting. This is the first synth release that I can think of, where the software company has come and been like, "innovation rests in its musical expressiveness. I'm terribly excited for these. They are going to make a nice addition to any studio that is interested in raw and cutting, full and beautiful sounds."
Cool beans!andy_cytomic wrote:All intel macs support SSE2, any Pentium 4 or above and any Athlon above but not including an Athlon XP.ckatrun411 wrote:Anyways, How do you figure out if your processor has the minimum SSE2 requirement? You guys did really great work. I can't wait to check these out. The drums sound awesome, very subby, and the leads are totally naked sounding.

djanthonyw - our crew needs to return from NAMM before we can advise you on that one. It's not something we usually do so our system isn't set up for it. Therefore our admin type people need to look at the viability.
kriminal - sorry, there's a limit to how much we can bend physics... good algo's cost CPU unfortunately.

Hey andy those leads sound sensational - i'm curious - what samplerate are these generated at?
The high end is phenominal! Since i purchased my new audio interface i've discovered the beauty of (some) vsti's at 96khz - where synths such as fabfilter's Twin are *greatly* enhanced. Therefore, i would be greatly impressed if these sounds were *generated* at 44.1 or 48khz
