Wow,that would be great,if it's not too much trouble. It would be better than loading two separate presets.

By the way, what happened to that demo rhythm preset where you could play those extra fat chords? Didn't you plan to make it a full preset (you could only play a few chords in the demo)?
Just one extra question as a non-guitarist. When you play powerchords, do you normally use downstrokes only?

Personally, I do play powerchords as downstrokes only. To me, it just sounds thicker that way! I know that James Hetfield from Metallica and Scott Ian from Anthrax both do as well. In fact, Scott Ian can play downstrokes only at 200+ bpm! Now that takes a lot of practice and wrist strength...LOL!

However, it is personal preference, because some do play both up and down. I would suggest trying both, and then listen to them and see which you like better!

200 BPM doesn't mean anything if there are 8th notes in question, and in almost all cases it's 8th notes or perhaps 8th triplets. I'm pretty sure they can't downstroke 16ths at 200+, that's single-string work and alternate picking all the way.

Hi Greg, is it possible to make some some even lighter presets? Eg: sustain only but all velocity layers and not load all the trill samples ect (like Chris Hein has sorry ) I'm still on 32 bit and having 2 strawberry guitars a vir2 basis and a superior drummer uses about 2999 mb's of memory

One thing you can do is override the DFD settings to use smaller preload sizes. At the lowest setting, EEG Strawberry (light preset) only uses 18 MB of RAM in K2 on my machine, instead of the usual 160 MB (or thereabouts).

But also, if you'd like lighter presets, I can remove some of the articulations that you might not use to make it use less RAM, too. Send me an email and we can talk about the articulations you need and how we can make EEG more convenient for your work flow.

You should be able to load it multiple times without using more memory.

I searched but didn't really find a better thread for this...

But, I thought I should share anyway... A remix I did a couple months back using EEG was just released through digital distro today.

It features a couple layers of EEG. Muted rhythm plucks, mirroring the bassline and a lead melody were all done using Orange Tree. Each has different amp sim settings and fx. Not the most complex programming, but I am happy with the relative realism of the output.

I thought this might be useful for some people who are interested in this product. I find it's very different hearing something in a real project versus a demo song. I've been very happy with EEG's sound and use it on many of my tracks.
