You're not the only one, if that's some consolation.

A lot of the 'bargains' I've collected over the years are in eternal hibernation on my backup HD:s. But I think that Chromatone will be one of the (comparatively) few that's actually going to see a lot of use.

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

It must be. It has the potential to be a lot more expressive than samples anyway.

Yes, that is my problem as well. My VST folder is a pretty competitive environment and seems to always be dominated by the usual suspects(Omnisphere, Kontakt, Virus TI, Battery, etc).

I do not however have anything that I see as overlapping with Chromaphone, so I am hopping that it will be different as well, even though I have a feeling I'm just doing the same mistake expecting a different result. Time will tell.

At least the price is good :)

I think it's time to get the wife and kids and neigbours involved in churning out tracks 24/7 with all the different plugs working this way you will get your monies worth and become a small make work industry.. I for example have at least 12 doorknobs in my home that need a little jingle in them which would be a huge help when arriving home to a dark house, late at night..

If they keep making improvements to physical modeling, you'll be able to build your own.
I wish I could sing as well as the voices inside my head...

So here is a little Fomaclone demo for the handle of your refrigerator - you can dance to the fridge in anticipation of this little track and then enjoy it when you actually open the fridge to get some drinks...

P.S. You won't hear any of the nice round bass notes in the fridge handle though so maybe you should hook up a subwoofer behind the fridge...

Daaaayyyyum! Got this in the modelling collection Black Friday sale last night and I am totally loving it :). Is it just me, or is the CPU usage a bit high, though? Playing any more than 4 notes brings my machine to its knees.
VST PRESETS ---> http://xenossoundworks.com
Bazille, NI Massive, Z3ta, PPG Wave, TAL-J8, RePro, Diva, Spire and more

There is. You have to go to the Modeling Collection page and click under upgrades. If you have four Professional Series serials to validate, then your price will be $179. If you have three, then it's $199.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but yesterday it was $89.50 if you own four... Black Friday special. Today the pricing is set back to normal.

But if you have the original email, then you can still get just Chromascope (or Colonscope.. or whatever people are calling it today!) for $89.

Or keep a sharp eye on the marketplace... I saw a second Colonscopy for sale last night... going for $79, I think.

My email says until the 5th of December so it seems it goes beyond the black friday.

Thank's Sequent - Yeah, Colonscope is distracting me from all the other stuff I have to finish, but also inspiring me quite a bit :)
