I'd also like to suggest you to move to vextor gfx, to have a fully scalable UI.
Its impossible nowadays to make the right choice for UI size, considering we may run things on a 3000x2000 tablet, or a 1080p 27"...
Even if we have the choice between a few sizes, its not future-proof, we may have 8000x6000 (or probably a lot more) in the near future, so only option is vector, i guess...

Thanks and keep up the great work.
Hi geoslake, everything is ok here, thank you for your interest, :)

currently I'm fully involved in creating LittleOne ver.3. It is a sort of FULL reboot for LittleOne, all simulations and engines have been rewritten from the ground up, using the most advanced technologies (TPT/0df , accurate oscillators , improved nonlinearities , etc...) and ensuring a full cross-platform compatibility (VST2,VST3,AU,AAX,32bit,64bit,OSX,WIN). It is really a huge workload for me (then, my "radio silence" of the last months). But I love so much to create this, so everything proceeds fine - and I also learned a lot of new things ! :)

Then, IronAxe will have the same kind of "reboot".

About GUI, LittleOne ver.3 and IronAxe ver.2 will be bitmap based, but I'll go with vector further, unless Hosts will manage this natively (auto-scaling of plugins GUI, also the bitmap based ones). Vector resizing and GUI is something I have to learn yet, maybe I'll consider JUCE (currently I'm on WDL-OL)...

Good idea. TAL has recently implemented this in his synths.

How will the upgrade pricing be?

I was just looking at the product, and I think €99 for a 32 bit synth edit plug is a lot in the market now.

Will there be any grace period for new customers?

Hi Numanoid , my apologies for my extreme delayed reply ! :)

(I just noticed your post, kvraudio didn't notify me by email)

IronAxe version 2.x will be compatible with the following formats: (vst3‬ ‪, vst2‬ ‪, au‬ ‪, aax‬ ‪, 64bit‬ ‪, 32bit‬ ‪, win‬ ‪, osx‬)

Maybe the "retail price" will be slightly re-touched, but previous customers will receive the upgrade free of charge.

Also, maybe there will be a introductory offer for the first weeks (reduced price).

IronAxe version 2.x development will start soon, just after LittleOne 3.x will be completed.

Progresses here : http://www.xhun-audio.com/site/xhun.php ... sx_support

I wish my infos have been helpful to you :) and sorry for my 3-months delayed reply...

Please consider a sale before v2 is released, hearing that the upgrade will be free got me on your site, watching your video, pulling my wallet out... until I remembered how much we spent in December. So a sale would be great :D

Hi,

I think there will be time enough at least for a "summer special offer", before IronAxe version 2.x will be released...:)

Hi,

my apologies for my reply delay (I just seen the post, no KVRAudio email notifications).

So, here's the facts :
DSP and GUI sides are both almost complete.
What is missing is basically the cross-platform, cross-versions Presets Engine. Once it will be completed the main thing to do before the FINAL release is making a fairly amount of presets. I hope some Registered Users would help me with this, it will boost dev times a lot...

I just purchased IronAxe a couple of days ago and I'm absolutely amazed by it. It's a brilliant piece of work and will now be one of my 3 or 4 "go-to" plugins - and my only "go-to" plugin for guitar sounds. I have no complaints, despite it being 32bit, though obviously it would be nice to have a VST3/64 bit version (and maybe some acoustic models, and maybe a pedal steel version some day  ). But Bruno has my deep respect and thanks for developing this monster!

Thank you for your support, :)

sure, I'm currently completing LittleOne ver 3.0 for its release and it has my priority. But the next one will be IronAxe version 2.0. Technology improvements and a full cross-platform compatibility are the rules. I spent latest years working on a solid development framework and once IronAxe will take "that way" (after LittleOne), it will be time for additional products, both analogue electronics modeling and acoustic/electroacoustic modeling.

But THE development rule is "never be in a hurry"...:)

Is there a list of planned changes for 2.0?

Any update on 2.0? Particularly Mac OS X. I'll looking to purchase the LittleOne/IronAxe bundle, but am looking for more info and any additional cost it would be.
