Wonder if they'll release it soon enough for me to demo in my upcoming delay shoot-out to decide whether to buy Recirculate or return Cluster Delay... already have Sigmund 1 (got for free, have never tried, I generally just use Echoboy or H-Delay, sometimes Byome/Triad... also got Repeater for free).

Sigmund is a great sounding delay but sometimes it can be the little things that get in the way, and with this plugin it's been the fact that you can't browse to the next preset without a pop-up notice warning you to save the current preset, even if you've only adjusted the dry/wet control. In a simpler delay this wouldn't matter so much, but with Sigmund it's a good idea to try the presets as there's a wide range of sounds to choose from.

This is from their website and was for their recent 808 plug:Raddler1 wrote: Mon Feb 05, 2024 8:39 pm Can anyone confirm if D16 will allow for V2 upgrades if not bought directly through them?
Considering purchasing V1 here and then upgrading. Thanks.
Once we release new major product version we usually provide upgrade offer to all owners of the previous version (like transition from version 1 to version 2).
Only users owning the license for the previous version at the day of release are eligible
It means that if you purchased license for the previous version, second hand, after new version was released, you're not eligible to receive the upgrade discount. Only original owner is / was entitled for the discount.

Ok. Makes sense. Basically I need to buy it second hand before they release V2 to have cheap upgrade pricing.Rickskii wrote: Mon Feb 05, 2024 10:45 pmThis is from their website and was for their recent 808 plug:Raddler1 wrote: Mon Feb 05, 2024 8:39 pm Can anyone confirm if D16 will allow for V2 upgrades if not bought directly through them?

Oh, sorry, I didn't realise the finer details. Guess I'd just been lucky that I'd purchased Drumazon V1 ahead of the V2 release date.

I have bought a Nepheton v1 after v2 release. I kindly asked customer support and they generously sent me a discount code for the upgrade. Can't confirm this would work everytime just sharing my experience maybe the CS rep was feeling generous that day.Rickskii wrote: Mon Feb 05, 2024 10:45 pmThis is from their website and was for their recent 808 plug:Raddler1 wrote: Mon Feb 05, 2024 8:39 pm Can anyone confirm if D16 will allow for V2 upgrades if not bought directly through them?

I wonder if that actually may be true. For the sake of the many Sigmund V1 owners who have not been able to use their copy for quite some time now, due to OS compatibility issues, perhaps D16 will be kind enough to offer free upgrades as a fair gesture. I think Sigmund is the only D16 plugin that has suffered such a long wait time for compatibility. On mac anyways.

What a nonsense. They are kind enough without your silly attempt. Having them engage with this psycho forum is already a ton of kindness.Raddler1 wrote: Tue Feb 06, 2024 4:22 am I wonder if that actually may be true. It is your homework to download a demo and then see whether is it working for you or not both systemwide and soundwise. They offer that. If it does not meet your standards or it does not function properly on your setup then you don't purchase it and move on.
You do not purchase software just to be able to bitch about it or call a company for a discount. And you do not purchase software that is not working or does not have the functionality you want (like sidechain duck ducking fuc* duck). But you know, being here for two decades I have seen more polished crap than your argument.
Most certainly software having a bug is NOT a thing to ask for a free upgrade. By that logic, 99.99% of the industry plugins should be upgradeable for free.
It will be a paid update.
As an armchair expert with several degrees in YouTube science, the self-proclaimed detector, and a Blade Runner of fake forum product experts - I am calling your argument a dud.

I suspect an upcoming version on steroid, has it has been the case from all their V2 drum or bass boxes, so worth the paid upgrade, they have done a wonderful job on phoshion 2, drumazon 2 and nepheton 2 upgrade, ...all in all I admire their professionalism as developers, they're not fooling their costumers
