Ha, well that pretty much confirms what I was thinking. Doesn't some of that copy sound like the double-speak on "House of Lies"? I don't see why they needed that investment though considering how well established they've become. Could be they've been chasing the American Dream and living the Good Life and then ran out of cash. They could have just sold the Teslas...

To be fair, 12 million bucks would change the way I do business too -especially if I had to make it earn maybe 20% every year on top. But I doubt I'd take it on those terms. That's why I'm still 'just' a guitar player.

I didn't see any mention of this before in this thread, but when I A/B the exact settings in both 5 and 6 I get a quieter (roughly 2db) and slightly duller sound out of v6. It's not one of those nuances you have to have golden ears to hear either. Very noticable difference.
Has anyone else noticed the same thing?

Actually, I tried a number of the presets and other random settings. The new version just sounds different. Some people may even like it better (smoother vs crisper sound in v5). Not sure if they built a new sound engine for v6.
For some reason, they same presets don't all automatically load into 6 the same way as they do in 5, but you just have to turn filters and such back on and can get the same settings back up.
