Very happy to see the monophonic feature added but it looks like it's a global setting, not per-patch. I'm guessing this is harder to do but wouldn't it make more sense for this to be a per-patch feature? If I load a pad patch, for example, I don't expect it to be monophonic because of a global switch.

Played a bit with it and uninstalled it... not interesting enough for me and without a "wow" factor.
I had more fun while playing with the last Tone2 Icarus synth

Btw. I've searched for unison support (detune/spread/stacking) stuff but have not found something?

bit of advertising over here?

Some of the parameters like delay times and frequencies of things would be nice if they could be seen and adjusted to specific values.

I've purchased it & 110% agree on these 2 points.
It really needs some numeric feedback so you know where you're at.
To add to this.. a 3rd 'must have': Unison spread.

I really like this synth, the Sequencing/Arp is really powerful. That said there are some strange omissions here.

Just released my Factory Sound Library.

Here's a Soundcloud demo.

Really loved working with this synths's mod matrix as you can tell. LOL.

Damn. I wanted this thing wicked bad. Then a bunch of better stuff came out. I'll grab it off the next of Sugar-Bytes many many sales.

I've been digging into Factory. I like to try and work a new synth in by making a track just using the synth. This is the result with Factory. It's not a polished or complete track but it gave me what I needed to get a better sense of Factory. It's very unique sounding, with a kind of dirty slightly broken sound. I like it and it will be a nice change from the slick silky synths. All the sounds in this were from Factory and using the factory presets. I tweeked the presets to suit and there is a little EQ and dynamics processing on a few sounds. Plus a small mastering chain with some EQ etc to smooth it all out. But all the sounds are Factory

Not bad, Plexus, not bad at all.

very nice sounds, plexuss!
...I'm still a little on the fence on this one: although I have not demo'd it (probably not available for demo until after 9/1), NI's new "Form" has me suspecting that there may be some significant overlap between it and Factory... 8)

Thanks! You can really hear Factory's "sound" in this track. kind of a woody dirty sound, but it also has clarity and clean transients. quite an interesting balance between "dirt" and "musical" character.

Yeah but if someone doesn't have the money to buy the synth during that initial discount period or, who knows, is in a coma or something :hihi: then he/she misses out for good. That's **** to me, so I can see the benefits to the purchasers for having yearly sales to give everyone a chance to buy it at a discounted rate.

Yeah, well I tried it. Guess what Sherlock? It doesn't work.

That surprising to me given your talent; I found a lot of the presets (especially the self playing S/H modular sounding stuff) very inspiring and quite different to the norm. I guess its horses for courses, but I found this very easy to make soundscape, modular mayhem and very animated pads (I will try and soundcloud a few latter), perhaps not the best for very creamy lead sounds, but not everything can be Diva et al, I remember a lot of people not liking Serum when it first came out (described as cold, digital, harsh etc with a horrible reverb.....) but over time it became more popular....I think for a '1' release Factory is very good and sounds different to the usual VA offerings, and I can hear the GUI singing to me :ud:
That sounds perfect for you then.
Bad day at the office?
