So another short demo and generated soundscape/pad from Dust. Just 1 emitter from the 8 used here.
I just let the sequencer run. Everything is modulated within the preset. Pitch is modulated within a neopolitan scale via random and at the same time per particle distance from center...and a few more things of course.
Below is also a link to the preset if someone want to play with it.

Not sure what you mean? I just installed the latest version over the old and it worked.Caine123 wrote:lol, you cannot start the new version installer if you have the old install installed?
But all this hardware, OS, DAW and VST/AU/AAX etc. fragmentation is a bit odd these days.
It will even go worse in the future....

in windows it says you already have it installed and you need to uninstall before you can install the new version.

Good idea!wasi wrote:Woah, to go really nuts, use the midi output from Obscurium.
Cthulhu or other midi FX works great here too.
The per particle modulations in Dust are awesome. Even 1 emitter can take you really far away!
I just wish it had an z axis as well for the flow field

With 5.1 audio output, a z-axis would be awesome. But since it is stereo, it won't do anything...unless, some extra dimensional fx would be added. That would be niceCinebient wrote:Good idea!wasi wrote:Woah, to go really nuts, use the midi output from Obscurium.

The further you go on the z-axis, the more chorus wetness and feedback appears..or something similar...

Yes, i thought something like that. 5.1 (or 7.1 etc) audio would be of course great to create ambiences. I could imagine some nice things for planetariums and such.exmatproton wrote:With 5.1 audio output, a z-axis would be awesome. Maybe it would be too cpu intense. The per particle modulation(s) on several parameters on up to 8 emitters will not possible on my machine i think....but i will try.
