My first post here, so ...
Hi Everyone!
For few days I was playing with these synths trying to craft something possibly for the OSC and this morning I found out all my instances of FB3200 have "lost" the instruments, I mean they just switched to default... And it's everywhere, in all my backup files, previous versions...
I'm pretty screwed, cause these sounds were the most I had
Any reason this happened?
DAW is Cubase Artist 9 with most recent updates.

Yeah, I had something scary today, too, in MuLab. But only one instrument (FB-3300) lost somehow it's first OSC. I just reloaded the project and it was all fine again?!
...so, yeah, spooky stuff is certainly happening with there.

Yeah, this is the same thing that's been happening to me, but worse. I posted about it back a ways. It's almost like the Thorn issue.Taron wrote:Yeah, I had something scary today, too, in MuLab. Hope there's a fix. I'm really starting to get into the 3300...haven't even messed with the other 2 yet.
Right now, I'm stuck at (lucky number) 13 instances. Any more seems to be unwilling. :/

Interesting! Because I have a max of 9 instances per type. Wonder if that's why I got lucky?
The cool part about the 3200 is velocity and simplicity.
3100 has its own qualities as well. I was very happy about every one of them.

I download several VSTs from Full Bucket Music and they are all buggy in Reason. The sound stops with a crack each time after you make an adjustment or if you release a turning knob. They work great in Cubase though ...

Haha! Maybe! The 3300 issues started before 13 though. Been a bit of an uphill battle saving patches just so I can reinsert instances hoping it fixes things. Sometimes one osc gone, sometimes entire synth, sometimes just toggling the osc on/off switches caused them to disappear.Taron wrote:Interesting! Because I have a max of 9 instances per type. Ahhh, so velocity is hiding in the 3200? Good to know! Unfortunately, I'm about out of time. Heading out of town and still need to vote for 105. OSC's are definitely addictive and time consuming!

It's pretty scary how much OSC becomes a basic routine, that's for sure! Imagine this would generate income!

...somehow, I would find this kind of a very nice job, for sure!

I do not have Reason but there seem to be issues with the VST implementation... see here. Not sure if that's the root cause (although it sounds like).Alex Cremers wrote:I download several VSTs from Full Bucket Music and they are all buggy in Reason. Generally I recommend to update the FB-3X00 plug-ins to the latest versions 1.1.4, 1.0.1, 1.0.3 released December 4, 2017 and available from my website.
Cheers, Björn

Reaper for whatever reason was getting very clogged/halty with 5 instances and parameter automation, so just a quickie sketch for this one... not really expecting accolades, just wanted to at least participate. All original patches.

No idea how did you manage to make these sounds out of this synthTaron wrote:Well, I may still make changes or even add another act, but here are the first 2 acts of "Little Sleeprunner":

Great job with that single synth, I would say "demoscene style"Guenon wrote:Not sure whether I'll enter this, but I'm sure some of you will find this literal one synth exercise entertaining![]()
