 love it!
almost tempted myself despite not being interested in an 808 or a compressor :hihi:
i just love unicorns!! 🦄🦄🦄

Heh, I find the idea of a stand alone, kick drum pretty convenient. I do that in software quite a lot
and have been missing it in modular (not to mention the compressor). No doubt there are more
flexible kick drum modules out there, but sadly, they are all lacking in the unicorn dept. :tu:

+ plus this one is fully analog...

I put a 15ips mk2 and a Mass Drivr in each of them and I really like the result. The first slot in the Mr Focus has a lot more range that the slots in the Color Palette and Tilt EQ is really handy. Nice that the EQ can be before or after the color slots. I also really like how the first slot drives the second slot, when using the 'Boost' mode. I'm tempted to get another pair for my GT Console and Tone-Loc colors.
So many options these days. Sounds like you made a good move, enjoy.
I’m interested in the Royal Blue from them, and the super filter. It’s nice to have multiple options in a single 500 slot unit, the color format is nice.

accidentally bought a Synthstrom Deluge.
Bunch of fun but now I need to have my eyes/glasses re-evaluated. Terribly small font on the grid.
I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

The Deluge looks pretty cool anyway... :tu:

I've got a mulititouch monitor coming soon, picked up a couple softsynths (repro!), might sell off some hardware and pick up an MPE controller of some variety.

Having finally got round to upgrading to the complete Melda plugins bundle last month I’m contemplating flogging a load of other plugins that overlap functionally with that to finance hardware acquisition. Tempted to start with Fabfilter as it’s probably better stuff than I need and my cloth ears won’t miss them too much.

It’d go towards paying off my Hydrasynth early and hopefully towards a deposit for a Summit.

I just pre-ordered one of these little guys in "illusion blue"

I'm hoping this works for what I want it to do for a few years at least.

Oh was going to ask. Anyone recommend a spring reverb tank or kit? I don’t have eurorack so the likes of Intellijel not really an option.

What do you want out of your spring reverb? I have a few and they are all a little different. I like my Dan Electro Spring King a lot. Not a big tank but sounds nice and it's pretty affordable. With a Koma FieldKit FX you get a few different lofi effects and you can choose which type of tank you want to use. Vermona makes a few different reverbs at different price points and then there is stuff like the IGS Springtime.

Mod Electronics makes a kit called The Wave which is a tube driven spring verb but it looks like a lot of mechanical assembly and wiring.
BYOC has a DIY spring verb but I think it's based on the Belton Brick, not a real tank.

I'm very interested in Game Changer Audio's Light Pedal. I wonder if they'll do a rack version, with balanced I/O.

can't remember who makes it, but there was a guitar pedal spring reverb released the last couple of years?.
dunno how good it is, but might be an option.

Cheers guys, will browse later

That Koma Field Kit FX looks very interesting. Mono only, but probably doesn’t matter too much.

Not really. It's a multi-trick pony. You're doubtless aware that the spring tank is not included, but that gives you latitude in your choice(s). Manual:

Do you mean the one with an actual reverb tank?
