Soundtoys for me gives a lot of sound, bring things to life! Try using devil loc on a drums send bus for example, crystallizer on synths, radiator on basses. They are great.

they are not
aliasing plugin owner

funny how no one mentions Bob Clearmountain and all the Apogee plugins which are absolutely beyond better then softube, Soundtoys, UAD and SSL's versions etc

seriously?
there are alternatives half the price even half of soundtoys on sale, in fact some of logic and Cubase stock plugins can get the same job done., as I mentioned before Apogee are really good but not out marketing for influential social media users., then you have UAD, SSL, analogue obsession even has created stuff...and many more..the market is over saturated atm, amp sims are hot for a few more fears, getting authentic outboard gear and decent I/OS with Pres, ssl Neve emulations is still the thing but even WAVES BBE can do better then most proclaims Soundtoys tube saturated plugs...

PS dont get me wrong they are great plugs, if you own them then keep using them...just saying if you dont and see other options compare the demos for yourselves but also keep in mind softube are not nice people once they get your money, positive Greed are ...greedy...Neural DSP are ace and communicating with Soundtoys is ddef a positive experience, they are not out to rip you off, I guess they can float their plugs for a while until they innovate something new besides finally getting vst3s.

Wait, you mention that it is funny that nobody mentions Apogee, but then repost and go on about plugins being half the price of Soundtoys, a single Apogee plugin is in the price range of the entire Soundtoys collection hahaha, I swear people just post here to get their count up.
Duh

Soundtoys is over man, the things you can do now and already could of with waves is beyond Soundtoys, its time to check out great innovation, yes analogue sim as well, and it does not have to be from every single plug in by Soundtoys...Eventide covers just about everything Soundtoys does, free plugins blow away Soundtoys today, like the decapitator...

Sorry you paid for those plugs if its why your offended..they are ok plugs, where great, they do the job but they are worth like $25 max...they certainly look it lol

Ah this guy thinks he understands everyone.. Mad innit.

How can you possibly understand how everyone else's process works or ears are 'tuned'. Answer: you can't.

You're fresh onto this forum and sweeping statements like your don't go down too well.
Mostly because they are untrue.

I'm not arguing plugin devs with you, I'm saying that you can't tell anyone else about how to decide what plugins to use or buy. You do you, we do we. That's where we're at.

Soundtoys may be getting a bit long in the tooth, but it's often not about who has the hottest new shit, it's about having solid tools that have proven reliable over the years (and most importantly, work for you).
I use Echoboy all the time. It's a plugin that is very flexible, sounds very good and at the same time requires very little CPU. No, I don't think I would be happier with Eventide or other developers. I also use Eventide plugins etc. but not for delays.

im not saying they are bad or not solid, just saying they are out dated, easily replaceable by far beyond better products and way lower prices, I would not pay more then $25 to $30 for any Soundtoys, I can buy waves and other products at that and less online via knob cloud....including soundtoys...just advising anyone interested in them to try other alternatives before jumping on products marketed by name dropping Peter Gabriel lol!

So if they sold them for max $30 im in...other wise they can dream on in 2023, but think about it, if Soundtoys sold these plugs at even less, they still get a bang for the buck.., more people will buy them..but I guess that means more problems too even with AI tech support (or maybe not 8) )

Which Waves or Eventide plugin allows you to create saturated, modulated, diffused delays like Echoboy?

Currently there is an offer for $29 to $49, so they are close to you wish of $30 :-P
"Outdated" is more what I would say if the plugins are discontinued or there are really equivalent plugins that are significantly better in all areas.
A few months ago they switched to VST3, they support Apple Silicon... so Soundtoys is even a bit ahead than many other developers.

There are a few plugins where I haven't found any real competition yet. Echoboy, Panman, Filterfreak. So I wouldn't say Soundtoys is overrated or even outdated.

It's hilarious how you call yourself "Britishboxer" and yet struggle with basic English grammer.

your taking this way off topic, in fact the nazi spell checking when all else failed to attack another person's character because they have a different opinion contrary to yours seems a bit like bigotry, no offence man, but let it go and respect other peoples opinions., go speak check the current POTUS with his 3rd grade education if you want to offer a service for a cause.lol just thought I add some humour.

You want me to break down alternative plugins that blow Soundtoys away for less than half the price they cost? just let me know cause im not the only one who replaced these toys.

still too expensive, $25 for Echoboy is about right in 2023., I say $15 for the disabled crippled little versions that are less then decent to most stock effects with just about every daw including FRUITY LOOPS
