VPS Avenger 2.4 [RELEASED - FAQ in OP]

I bought this thing ages back.
then the authors altered installation and registration methods and I never did manage to install and authorize the stupid bloody thing.

grizzle grizzle fart bitch moan etc.

buggered if I'm going to splash out for an upgrade for it.

did you ever contacted the support with your issue ?

I attempted to contact support and was directed to a page with instructions on installation etc.
each attempt led to abject failure of success.
I gave up after many and numerous attempts.
I rate the installation procedure of avenger on a par with that of air instruments for strangeness.
Those too are a constant reminder of failure every time I rescan my rather large collection of plugins.
I have more important things to do with my life than waste more time on such things.

i think its 24.11. they are based in Germany so it should be CET

23 days from 31st October would be 22nd / 23rd regardless of time zones, no?

And will be CPU usage improved?
Right now Minimal Audio Current is strong competition for Avenger.

Pretty sure they said they'd addressed some CPU spiking issues.

I see Minimal have taken Current down for the moment, with a banner saying "relaunch (ETA) early November 2023", so that'll be a strong competitor for sure. The upgrade price for Avenger users will be all important. Since Avenger 1 was on sale recently for under $100, I think they'd be pushing it if it was at that sort of level or above. The new features look good and worth a fee, but they feel more evolutionary than revolutionary imo.

hmm, never had any big issues with it.
I used the V-Manager to download the installer and also to download the Keyfile.
I had some issue with the AU Version but Support told me to delete the AU Cache folder and rescan.
After a restart it worked for me.

Current seems indeed a big competitor....
Avenger is proven quality but Current has a better UI.
Avenger has better flexibility on routing and oscillators, current has better FXs....

We'll see what bring the v2 of avenger, I have not followed very closely.

i hope Avenger 2 is also faster, i can run over 10 instances or so of Avenger but the GUI is always so laggy etc.

There will be no demo, so we couldn't test CPU improvement and will have to decide only from bloggers reviews.

yes of course, they will work
you also can use unused "pick5 bundle" codes for Avenger 2 XPs (before this question comes )
