It seems to me that one would be chasing the newest expansion ad infinitum as the production-ready sounds get used a lot in contemporary music. And the only way to get fresh sounds out of Nexus is buying new expansions (though with the 4.5 update one could get more milage potentially out of each sound by the mew editing capabilities).
So what do people in here who have had Nexus for some time feel are the best expansions for contemporary music?

Hello,
Can you successfully use the feature "MIDI Learn" in Nexus 4.5.6? I have just tried to use it but without result. Does it work?
However, I can successfully use this feature in some other plugins installed on my PC.

I see. Thank you. You "right click on the dial and select "start learning" and then move the corresponding dial on your MIDI controller" and that's it? I move the modulation wheel but nothing happens. However, this feature works fine in EastWest Opus with the same settings in Ableton Live 11. Which DAW and OS do you use?BJ wrote: Thu May 04, 2023 12:12 amIt works fine for meUser3 wrote: Wed May 03, 2023 12:03 pm Hello,

Yes I did that. Right now I assigned the mod wheel to the filter knob just now and it works. Maybe the patch you used already had the mod wheel doing something? I'm using Reaper on Windows 10.User3 wrote: Thu May 04, 2023 8:19 amI see. Thank you. I thought that it was possible to assign the mod wheel to a few of knobs in order to be able to control a few of knobs simultaneously using only the mod wheel. Please try to do it.BJ wrote: Thu May 04, 2023 12:10 pmYes I did that. Right now I assigned the mod wheel to the filter knob just now and it works. I wonder whether or not it is possible to use the feature "MIDI Learn" in Nexus 4.5 and Behringer FCB1010 or a similar device (a MIDI Foot Controller and an expression pedal) to be able to switch between different rotary knobs of reFX Nexus 4.5 using the Behringer FCB1010 switches and rotate the chosen rotary knob using one of the Behringer FCB1010 pedals. Is this possible?

Nexus5 around the corner?
But on a serious note, it is due this November going by Nexus3 to Nexus4 release cycle.

Who do you use for an internet provider and where are you? It seems some people can access the site and others can't.
