You can get rid of that 'nasty demo restrictions' by buying a license.
Or if you don't like it - keep your money and don't buy it. I am perfectly fine this

Wow, what an attitude towards someone who reports a potential bug so that you can fix your synth...Tone2 Synthesizers wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 11:08 pm You can get rid of that 'nasty demo restrictions' by buying a license.

Anyway, being the nice guy that I am, I have made an audio with two other synths, sounding exactly the same. Both used the most primitive init patch, saw, sustain set to max, mono, legato and glide...

And the Midi file so that you can test it on Elektra yourself...

Thank you for your feedback. We will investigate it as soon as possible.
So far Electra3.2 seems to work fine for thousands of customers.

I set up a new Init patch using the "Create Patch:Analog Mono" setting and opened up the filter. I turned up the glide amount to 54 and it seems fine to me from here. I just held down one lower note and then once in a while played other notes higher up here and there.

Does anyone know if new versions support polyphonic aftertouch, or could you check for me? Markus added it to Icarus, but before I start upgrading, I'd like to know if the new versions support it.

you might not want to hear this but Tone2 does not need your business.Odd Fella wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 11:14 pmWow, what an attitude towards someone who reports a potential bug so that you can fix your synth...Tone2 Synthesizers wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 11:08 pm You can get rid of that 'nasty demo restrictions' by buying a license.

That’s true, but don’t you get this unsettling feeling that you’re seeing like Superman about to use his max superpowers against a guy passing by who simply said his underpants should be... well under his pants ?ATS wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 3:42 amyou might not want to hear this but Tone2 does not need your business.Odd Fella wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 11:14 pmWow, what an attitude towards someone who reports a potential bug so that you can fix your synth...Tone2 Synthesizers wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 11:08 pm You can get rid of that 'nasty demo restrictions' by buying a license.

Tone2 is a company that I highly consider. When I discovered Gladiator, then Electra-X was announced, I was like a kid waiting for Christmas. These synths were simply soooooo good, exactly what I had been waiting for !! To me Tone2 are legends and have a high throne in the synths paradise.
That feels weird to see them react more than needed to a user feedback when I imagine that so many people love their work and use them to create songs... We are a lot of Tone2 superfans here, that’s for sure, an army who would praise their work ! I don’t like to see that tension when I’m convinced there’s no need to.
If you’re there, in this very topic, I’d say chances are around 94% (?) that you love Tone2 products.
Please don’t read the above post. It’s a stupid one. Simply pass.

I loved it when Tone2 responded telling him he doesn't care if he doesn't buy. People are so rude and expect everyone they are dealing with to kiss their buts.DJErmac wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 4:08 amThat’s true, but don’t you get this unsettling feeling that you’re seeing like Superman about to use his max superpowers against a guy passing by who simply said his underpants should be... well under his pants ?ATS wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 3:42 amyou might not want to hear this but Tone2 does not need your business.Odd Fella wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 11:14 pmWow, what an attitude towards someone who reports a potential bug so that you can fix your synth...Tone2 Synthesizers wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 11:08 pm You can get rid of that 'nasty demo restrictions' by buying a license.

“This guy” had a very hard life. That's why he communicates directly with people and sets clear boundaries when necessary. The direct but very honest manner of communication sometimes seems to irritate very sensitive personalities.

'normal' aftertouch is already supported. Polyphonic aftertouch can rather easy be supported.zerocrossing wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 12:25 am Does anyone know if new versions support polyphonic aftertouch, or could you check for me? I have put your feature request on my feature list for a future update.
Sadly polyphonic aftertouch is only supported by few midi devices and not supported by all DAWs.

Maybe i should create a new KVR account for this post but........
What i see in all tone2 Threads is a bunch of "ghost accounts", expecially since 2020/21.
Sometimes some of those fresh created accounts posting in tone 2 Threads while having "1-2" posts/days after account creation..
Some of those now have a whole lot of posts right now.....
Anyone can post anything in any amounts, content or frequency.

Fake accounts and sock pupptes are indeed a problem on kvr. This does not only affect threads from our own company.
We assume that many of these troll-accounts are owned by jelous competing developers. They join a thread and try to denigrate the competitior's product while they advertise stuff of a certain other company. There is a clear pattern that you can see.
Further troll accounts seem to be software pirates that try to get a revenge because their stolen licenses do not longer work. I've seen them post fake 'bug reports' or they do other attempts to derail a thread.
If you notice such a "ghost account" report it to the morderation.

Some can not be such but the feeling i get is there's quite a lot of ["umm... wait..what?!"]
moments in here.
From the Effects forum:
viewtopic.php?t=530191&start=195
[guess the 3 knobs in echoboy + setting delay to unsync for this effect were not seen there]
- with me it had the effect of:jens wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 9:43 am_gl wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 8:32 pm oh yeah and a big one for me (that I've worked around with my own code): delay drift when slaved to the host bpm.
ie. so it internally runs at a slightly lower bpm (or higher i guess) than the host, so that delay repeats don't sound so quantized and more organic. I use this all the time because I rarely want bang-on-the-beat repeats.
and the 'drift' parameter should be a percentage of the host bpm, so its vibe is maintained automatically as bpm changes (including with bpm automation or if you later decide to play the song faster or slower).
uhm.... wait - what?
show me a delay that doesn`t have this - and the Soundtoys delays are even amongst the most flexible ones in that regard.
- I already used it better but i'm not using this tool to it's best possibilities....
- I guess with others it can have other effects..
