Which ones? I don't really know of other bass synths. If you mean 303's thats what most of the thread is about.

Here's hoping ill get some time over the next week or two!!

There's a few from Moog - the Taurus pedals, then the Sub Fatty and Sub 37s (which can do more than bass but that's the main function). Novation have their Bass Station II.

Roland's SH-101 of course.

I think a bigger question is how does it compare to Phoscyon 2, Roland Cloud TB-303, and ABL

In order of best sound ABL -> Roland/Phoscyon -> Arturia

ABL is best for authenticity
Phoscyon is best for sequence flexibility as it has different accent and envelope options.
Arturia is best for tone flexibility since it has that sub
Roland is in the cloud

one million dollars please.

The 101 seems like it might be a reasonable comparison since the Arturia Acid has the sub, but really they still don't sound much alike.

One of the best sounding bass synth and totally overlooked is subboombass2 by Rob papen.
As usual work rob, the UI is crap but it sounds really really good.

Thanks bro... Hopefully mid-January I'd start to be able to experience my own life again. Only a few weeks now.

Just updated to V Collection X yesterday, taking advantage of the intro price. Looking forward to messing with it.

I believe the title is a wordplay on 'dropping acid' which is slang for... well you know...

"Release" was the primary connotation, so your thought was correct.

And that is the secondary connotation; the "drops Acid" in the title is a double-entendre. So if you picked up on the secondary connotation, then you also got to appreciate the wittiness of the title.
