nickkbh; do you have access to another DVD reader at all? In trying to get these files sorted for you to upload Ive discovered that one of my other systems doesnt read the 230Ethnic DVD properly, although my audio system did....
Unfortunately something else has meant that Ive had to change plans slightly, wrt to setting up a download for you... I'm off work at the moment, so cant set up a temporary FTP server for you.
However I can still upload the files to two website space I have, but the total space is less than that of the DVD, so I'll have to do it in stages; I upload about half of it, you download it, let me know you're done, I delete that and upload the rest... is that okay? Not as convenient, Im afraid, but at this rate Im not going to be back at work till Monday.

Don't worry about the few samples.It was 3 in all,but i don't remember which.It's not a problem,.
whyterabbit,i'm in no hurry,do it when you have the time,unfortunately i don't have access to another dvd writer/ burner.

Isn't necesarry ! You can reading these dvd's using any dvd-rom player (not writer) !

Thank you , you are too kind but i'm responsable to this ! Even if our friend whyterabbyt can help us with a ftp , anyway both dvd's 'll be sended to you (including SPFX) ! You must to have ALL the samples from a dvd , this is the honest way in my opinion !

Okay, Ive RAR'd the directories in sets and that's reduced it to about 2.5Gb overall. That should make it easier/faster.

Doru,maybe try and send the dvd's in a soft case cause i think the hardcase causes the scratched when it gets to much pressure...
I got dvd's like that here before and so far far no probs.

Yes we discovered the same thing. Damage was done to our Case here in the post and caused a bit of scratching on the DvD but it all read okay.
We had the same trouble before here at Manytone shipping our product, so now we try to ship our products in a case or a way that they won't crack. (No Plastic CD Cases whenever Possible as they are what causes the damage usually)
I think out of all the Cds / DvDs that i have got in the mail from Various people over the years .... Every single one that was shipped with the Plastic Case just in an envelope has arrived Broken. Our postal servvice probably abuses them in a machine.

Doru; if hard jewel cases are going to cause you problems, you might find that DVD cases are more suitable, and possibly cheaper. Ive used some which are pretty much the same size as regular jewel cases which are quite cool....

sorry to say that my DVD also has some problems.
I can read it, but when I try to access some dirctories I get hang ups on my PC and I have to unload it and put it in again, to go to another directory.
I dont blame it on you Doru.
So if Whyterabbyt can give me a dl link I can dl the files and burn my own DVD, I think that should work.

(However, although I have enough bandwidth to maybe help out four or five people altogether, beyond that I definitely cant. I've got the files split between two websites at the moment, because Ive not got a single site with enough space for all of it, but one of them has a very nasty over-bandwidth charge that would cost me £5 per gigabyte over my limit... the other site just hits its limit and stops serving... )

No rsmus7 , just send me please your details and i will send you another dvd ! We know now that was our fault (because a damaged writer ) so , if you was receiveing a defective dvd (from that bad series) , it's normal to send you another to replace first dvd ! It's a duty for us ! The ftp solution is only a temporary solution useful to my friend from Thailand ! And anyway has been sended another dvd's him ! So , thank you whyterabbyt , but i need your help only for nickkbh !
To manytone : this are rare cases ! We have solded (during the last 3 years ) more than 12,000 dvd's and cd's ( "Superdrums 8000" , "SuperPercussionsFX" and "230 Ethnic Drums & Percussions" togheter) and cases of damaged packages was only ... 32 ! From more than 12,000 ! So our protection measures are ok (plastic boxes inside of evenlopes with plastic protection bubbles ). Ofcourse , any package can be damaged if the force it's very big !
So - no problem - any problem can be fixed easy !
