Does us reaching the 7:1 marker extend this buy or is May 31st the end no matter what?

I am running 64 bit Sonar 8.5.3 on Win 7 64 bit and no issues with Sampletank.bigdogs wrote:I'm running Sonar 8.53 on Win 7 64 bit and Sampletank works fine. I am using the 32 bit Sonar though (sound card drivers, and lots of 32 bit plugins)eDrummist wrote: Thanks so much jrathkopf!
All I want to confirm is that SampleTank will run well on Win 7 64 bit using the latest version of Sonar, then, I'm in and my ePointz will clearly be going to jrathkopf for his help. (And probably next time, to the person who can answer my Win 7 64 bit question.)

and ... with 6 or 7 for one ... this is a great deal ... better sign-up twice so you get almost all the multisounds!

BEWARE.
If you already own the R.A.W Trip Hop library, do not get the Down Tempo Electronica loops.
If you already own the R.A.W Drum and Bass library, do not get the UpTempo Electronica loops.
The R.A.W packs have the same sounds and more..
This is a bummer for me. Had I know, I would not have gotten these 2 Loop librairies. I wish they had been named "Trip Hop loops" and "Drum and Bass loops" to match the R.A.W library titles.
But that's my only disappointment. Other than that, I am very happy with everything else. I do feel that I now have 2 useless librairies though.. I much prefer using the R.A.W ones (which I can slice myself using slicex)...

pheeleep, you are the man! Thanks for the heads up, but from what it sounds like from others, having the loops in both formats is not a total waste. In fact, I was thinking I would use the RAW loops less because the way they are grouped in the Xpansion Tanks is more conducive to access & discovery (playability, basically). Good find, though!pheeleep wrote:BEWARE.

101 left to 7 x 1
Fun fact: I just noticed that the samplers I jumped into during their respective sales this month (IK Multimedia's Sampletank and Yellow Tools' Independence Pro) are both exactly at version 2.5.4
... Nice coincidence.
Edit: Make that 100..

If you don't believe it when I tell you, then take it from Sir Jake...
You're ultimate goal should be to get all the ST versions and all of the matching RAW packs!
Down to 100!
I'm waiting to hear what Squids' big jaw dropping surprise is all about!
Jake858 wrote:...I'm happy to say there are definitely usable sounds in these loops and multisample packs. In fact, I liked the one I downloaded so much I joined the group buy a 3rd time to pick up more construction kits and loops that I initially avoided.
So, to anyone who's on the fence regarding the construction packs, I would suggest giving both the Trip Hop Collection and also the Downbeat Electronica a try.
By the way, I also found some good sounds in Hip Hop Instruments collection too.
Yeah, sorry pheeleep. It would have been better if that had been more obvious. But really don't underestimate the power of using the Menu Map and Loop Slice features of the SampleTank Construction kits. It is a completely different way to be inspired by these sounds and to come up with cool stuff with the press of a few fingers.Toxie wrote:pheeleep, you are the man! Contentwise:
Trip Hop R.A.W = Down Tempo Electronica + Trip Hop Collection
Dirty South R.A.W. = Hip Hop Grooves + Dirt South Grooves
Modern Hip Hop 1 R.A.W. = Modern Tech Rap (partly, MTR does not have slices)
The R.A.W. loop lists are at esoundz. I personally find both R.A.W.s and Expansion Tanks useful, and have been buying the respective Tanks on purpose (got the R.A.W.s from AudioMidi No-brainer earlier this spring).
EDIT: beaten by zedd, again

I can slice the R.A.W material in about 3 seconds using an autoslicer..
I would have gotten 2 different Sampletank loop librairies had I known. I don't own any of the R.A.W Hip hop stuff and would have gone with two of the hip hop loops librairies instead.
I'm glad some of you are happy having both formats available. I am not..

98, and really 97 - I'm waiting for my serial # to show up. How long does it typically take?
I'd hate to think we'll barely miss the Big Surprise by not reaching 5000 today, when who knows how many of us don't get counted because we can't register without the serial numbers...

Just curious how much of a delay people are seeing between ordering through eSoundz and getting the IK serial number?
I ordered this morning and I got the bonus download code almost instantly, but I read here that the IK numbers are assigned by hand.
Anyone?

Allen is super fast, but he does it manually. I think numbers are sent out automatically from the IK registration system. I got both my e-mails just a minute or two after placing the order on IK.
