They stay in your account. So no rush at all. Next week, next month... no problem.
Excellent. Thanks. Another question, can any of these sounds be loaded into Battery 3?
No I don't think so but they can be loaded into Kore I believe - as long as you have installed and authorized the Infinite Player.

The presets are Kontakt presets, and I don't think Battery can load these.

Thanks for the reassurance. Will take another sip of patience :)

Quick answers to questions:

Instead of EZ Player Pro you can pick a Multitrack Kit from Drum Masters (out of 4 different ones done at Nick D'Virgilio or John Blackwell sessions).

------
The extra bonus for hitting 600 is TWO extra STm kits: JB Tama kit and the Chicago Gretsch kit which is kind of a roots rock/blues kit. The JB Tama kit is the stick version of the already included Brush kit so that's a nice one to have.
------
The reason the counter went down and then up is because cards were run and some declined and also some accidentally ordered more than once. We were running cards until the wee hours of the night. But the final number at Texas Midnight (sounds like a movie) was 604 just to know. Also, apparently it was set to Central Time because that is where our servers are, not Eastern Time (where SR is) so there was an extra hour and of course a lot of last minute joiners.

Yes, patience is definitely required for this so please understand that 604 people all wanting to download something this large is a lot! It's 3 times larger than we were expecting in terms of numbers and New Years is apparently a high traffic time for our servers according to them (although we warned them in advance). We've divided the content into 3 phases of delivery but decided to let everyone in the GB have access to each of those at once - or at least phase one to see how it goes. A message will be sent later this morning to all Group Buy members with details and in that will be a suggestion to wait for lower traffic times even to download phase 1... only the extremely anxious and antsy should download later today as opposed to ANY time after because it DOES stay in your download area so there's no time limit or pressure to get it done right away. Even the phases are just more things added to your download area.

The redeem code will show in your esoundz download area but can only be used on DownloadableSoundz.com - you should click the check box in the member's area of esoundz.com to link your account to DownloadableSoundz.com so you can use your same login and password when you redeem the code on this page: http://www.downloadablesoundz.com/redeem.php But this will be explained in the email.

Thanks again for being a part of this. As I said, these new features are going to be the system we work with in Kontakt so once you learn it then you can apply that to anything else we put out drum-wise - be it EpiK DrumS, Neil Peart... all using the same scripts more or less and interchangeable with kits from this bundle. I am sure there will be a lot of questions and that's one of the main reasons I'm around.

I wouldn't expect Phase 2 to be delivered until the dust settles from Phase 1 so that will probably be Monday.
Squids wrote:I wouldn't expect anything for the next 5 hours as we're doing it all manually so... it will take a bit. Also I wanted to do it so each kit had its own download - as clear as possible so everything is being arranged as best we can. There are a few things like the updated "info" file that has the new OWD Gui that have to be installed as well... to make a custom bundle like this there are a lot of parts. But we're setting the Infinite Library Installers so you can just DRAG and DROP onto it and point it to the Infinite Player folder and BAM it's in there... as long as you're sure the download was complete and you've compared the size of the zip you downloaded to the size of the zip on the place you downloaded from (a common error). More specifics coming around noon Florida time if that helps anyone from checking and checking right now. Hang in there! I think we have a good solution with the phases of delivery but even the first phase is a 13 kit MONSTER 10 gigabyte OWD product itself! Nothing lite about that!

Not a problem, just curious.

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned it here, but one of the major advantages, at least for me, of Kontakt player based sample libraries like the ones in this GB, is that the Kontakt Player is 64 bit, compatible with Vista and Windows 7 64 bit versions.

I'm moving to Windows 7, 64 bit version in a short time and I'm still waiting on my other drum VSTs (and lots of other VST makers, hint, hint IK) to go 64 bit. Now you can use software like BitBridge or JBridge to make some 32 bit VSTs run in 64 bit hosts, but it is often no guarantee of a smooth process or even that it will work for all your VSTs to say the least (just do a little searching of KVR on this topic).

ttoz,

The guys in this session have voted and unanimously agreed that you should arrive one hour early to the session to launch Logic. Please, please.

Thats very true.... Im waiting on a bitbridge update myself, so that JamStix can host BFD2 inside of it, running inside of Sonar 8x... Altho I love all 3 products and would not want to be without them, a true 64 bit world would be... warm and comfy...

I have Win 7 64 bit
I use Cubase 5
I have installed both 64 and 32 bit version.
95 pct of al 32 bit plugs works, running Cubase in 32 bit version.
