Quick answers to questions:

Instead of EZ Player Pro you can pick a Multitrack Kit from Drum Masters (out of 4 different ones done at Nick D'Virgilio or John Blackwell sessions).

------
The extra bonus for hitting 600 is TWO extra STm kits: JB Tama kit and the Chicago Gretsch kit which is kind of a roots rock/blues kit. The JB Tama kit is the stick version of the already included Brush kit so that's a nice one to have.
------
The reason the counter went down and then up is because cards were run and some declined and also some accidentally ordered more than once. We were running cards until the wee hours of the night. But the final number at Texas Midnight (sounds like a movie) was 604 just to know. Also, apparently it was set to Central Time because that is where our servers are, not Eastern Time (where SR is) so there was an extra hour and of course a lot of last minute joiners.

Yes, patience is definitely required for this so please understand that 604 people all wanting to download something this large is a lot! It's 3 times larger than we were expecting in terms of numbers and New Years is apparently a high traffic time for our servers according to them (although we warned them in advance). We've divided the content into 3 phases of delivery but decided to let everyone in the GB have access to each of those at once - or at least phase one to see how it goes. A message will be sent later this morning to all Group Buy members with details and in that will be a suggestion to wait for lower traffic times even to download phase 1... only the extremely anxious and antsy should download later today as opposed to ANY time after because it DOES stay in your download area so there's no time limit or pressure to get it done right away. Even the phases are just more things added to your download area.

The redeem code will show in your esoundz download area but can only be used on DownloadableSoundz.com - you should click the check box in the member's area of esoundz.com to link your account to DownloadableSoundz.com so you can use your same login and password when you redeem the code on this page: http://www.downloadablesoundz.com/redeem.php But this will be explained in the email.

Thanks again for being a part of this. As I said, these new features are going to be the system we work with in Kontakt so once you learn it then you can apply that to anything else we put out drum-wise - be it EpiK DrumS, Neil Peart... all using the same scripts more or less and interchangeable with kits from this bundle. I am sure there will be a lot of questions and that's one of the main reasons I'm around.

I wouldn't expect Phase 2 to be delivered until the dust settles from Phase 1 so that will probably be Monday.
Squids wrote:I wouldn't expect anything for the next 5 hours as we're doing it all manually so... it will take a bit. Also I wanted to do it so each kit had its own download - as clear as possible so everything is being arranged as best we can. There are a few things like the updated "info" file that has the new OWD Gui that have to be installed as well... to make a custom bundle like this there are a lot of parts. But we're setting the Infinite Library Installers so you can just DRAG and DROP onto it and point it to the Infinite Player folder and BAM it's in there... as long as you're sure the download was complete and you've compared the size of the zip you downloaded to the size of the zip on the place you downloaded from (a common error). More specifics coming around noon Florida time if that helps anyone from checking and checking right now. Hang in there! I think we have a good solution with the phases of delivery but even the first phase is a 13 kit MONSTER 10 gigabyte OWD product itself! Nothing lite about that!

Hey Squids are there any vacations for you and your team at all? your work ethic is amazing as is the esoundz customer service
I remember your post supporting another company when there were a lot o negative things being said about that company's service you had said something like people were very vocal when a small thing goes wrong but they don't speak up when they do get something good Which I think is true in most cases but in Esoundz' case I see people are very vocal about your goodness. I think that is a great achievement

Getting everyone to work on New Year's Eve is not easy so I will do my BEST to have it ALL ready tonight... realistically by tomorrow and even then... New Year's Freakin' Day! Holidays... grrrr. Last time we end a GB right in the midst of Holiday vacations. Oh well. Don't hate me. We're doing our best! I know some people are anxious to play. I don't blame them. Although the stress is getting to me... not from you guys. You're all great. Just trying to make it happen for everybody and for some reason this is the hardest GB to deliver that we've ever had. Bear with us please.

Damn, I was looking at that piano and considering buying! This GB has been one hell of a great value.

2 quick questions:

1. Can we choose any kit to substitute for the EZPlayer Pro? I really want the bonham kit in multitrack format.

2. If no to #1, is there a discount for buying the full multitrack version of any of the STm kits for people who joined this GB?

Thanks!

No worries Squids. We love you. And even if we have to wait a few extra days to get our loot, we know it is going to be well worth the wait. We will have all of 2010 and beyond to play with our new drum kits!

Try not to stress... really we can practise patience. We know what incredible efforts you have gone to in order to make this happen, and you should try to relax and enjoy the New Year's festivities in New Mexico whether phase one has been put in our download areas or not.

I appreciate the explanation with regards to the NI screwup of the GUI image. That is a bummer, when you are on the doorstep of delivering something to 600+ people.
Somewhere in the background zedd
