Quality goods, but as much as I enjoy it, Luciano Lorusso's vocals just aren't quite to my taste. His clean stuff is just fine, but for some reason I feel that it would have benifted more from a Ron Broder or Kelly Schaefer like approach to the harsher vox than it would the Refused-style hardcore that Luciano does.

Maybe I'll pick up Rephormula and see if the old singer was any better.

Ah, well. Jaaath-Metal is few and far between, so I should be happy with what I get.

Well, despite my nitpicking about vocals, I'd recommend them, as the music more than makes up for it. Their album Painter's Palette(the one I have) is progressive metal with a strong jazz influence, sounds a bit like if Dillinger Escape Plan was influenced by Atheist's Elements or Cynic's Focus. Almost like Kayo Dot meets Spiral Architect.

Their prior album Phormula (re-released as Rephormula along with some re-mixes) was much more in the realm of black metal, and had another singer. They've got a couple of mp3s on their site…
