He may not have gotten all the emails out before he had to go but he'll resume when he gets back. The contents of the email are in this thread though for you: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 10#3918810sergiobklyn wrote:Has anyone gotten the confirmation e-mail yet? I haven't.

Quick question (and apologies if this has been asked already)...How would be the best/easiest way to use/map these wonderful sounds with a DrumKat controller? Both in general, and specifically as relates to hi-hat control? I usually record with Sonar8PE but would be curious for stand-alone use as well.
Background is I'm good with audio but seem to always get stuck with DrumKat mappping stuff.
Big thanks in advance (and Happy New Years!)

You should be able to use the midi learn button for each kit piece and assign to the existing midi notes generated by your drumkat. in other words, you shouldnt need to change anything on your drumkat.SFSonarBoy wrote:Quick question (and apologies if this has been asked already)...How would be the best/easiest way to use/map these wonderful sounds with a DrumKat controller? not sure about the hihat, but I am sure there is a similar sort of configuration. Usually you can use a continuous controller to go from closed to open, or you can just assign the different articulations to different pads.

I don't understand. 4 heads in a sweater?Squids wrote:Actually, Ken Scott told me that part of the Ringo drum sound for a while (Magical Mystery Tour time or maybe White Album) was from the use of that sweater with 4 heads stuffed into it.
Is this really gonna happen? I am staying at home tonight, by my lonesome, and would gladly try out this OWD kit 10.Squids wrote:I'm going to post a link to OWD kit 10m that can work with the free one in Kontakt Player demo mode (30 min at a time) for those who prefer to tinker with samples on New Year's Eve than watch...

First of all, congratulations and welcome to dimitar! We've been rooting for you!
Glad to see everybody being exercising patience. It is going to take a while to download everything, so try to not let it get to you. And...
Happy New Year to everyone! We're staying home... such excitement! Actually, the grandkids are over and we're making smores (graham cracker, marshmallow, and chocolate bar). Gotta go!

No email yet - no worries however, I have no plans to download anything any time soon. I'm into the second bottle of wine after dinner out with my wife, now we are settling in with the puppies (we have two pekingese) to ring in the new year. Happy New Year all - be well and be safe.

You know that grandchildren are your reward for not killing your teenagers! And the bonus is that you get to see your children make the same mistakes they love to tell you that you made!
