Any fact at this point is worthy of attention since all the speculation and bad jokes have been played out over and over. The fact that the July 7th date has nothing to do with domain registration expiration was the point. If you were interested in something other than arguing semantics you could call the Chartered Accountant Firm listed as Admins.......their phone number is available for those who seek.sjm wrote:Hence whyterabbit's comment, I assume...Teksonik wrote:NOUNsjm wrote:Depends on your definition of "significance".

Has anyone else been inspired by recent events to actually spend time playing Alchemy ? What an amazing synth capable of going from backing tracks for horror films to the dance floor at a Rave. One of the best synths I've ever played.

Somebody is selling theirs in the marketplace! Agreed, most amazing synth, sampler, morpher, arper ever created.
I miss it already.

Did you sell yours ? I'm pretty confident that mine will continue to function until I decide to retire although that might not be too far in the future.riley4reason wrote:Somebody is selling theirs in the marketplace! Agreed, most amazing synth, sampler, morpher, arper ever created.

My studio computer is pretty clean and I don't plan on any OS updates or anything that might cause reinstall/re-authorization issues with Alchemy.
It would just be a shame to let Alchemy die and not give those who don't already own it the opportunity to enjoy it into the future.
I keep telling myself Ben would not let his greatest work just fade away but at this point who knows.......

I actually have. I haven't been using it much lately and I was inspired to look around at other resynthesizers. Not finding much I dug into Alchemy again, even watched some tutorials and am blown away all over again.Teksonik wrote:Has anyone else been inspired by recent events to actually spend time playing Alchemy ? It may. We'll just have to wait and see.SCprogfan wrote:I just hope that Alchemy doesn't end up like this plugin.

So... whatever happened to the withing the top 40 pages mentioned "contacts" that now Ben and can ask him?
Did that run dry?
Or is it down to PM contacts at this point and this thread is just for further nonsense?

If/assuming it was an Apple acquisition, and also assuming it is kept whole as a Logic instrument, what will they call it, or what should they rename it?

Aside from the one post 5648 pages ago, i take it no-one has had any confirmation about license transfers yet.
