Wait, you're in Mexico and you're freezing?

Squids, please, come visit Chicago soon. We'll show you what it really means to be "freezing."
I was thinking the same thing - take a little trip up here to my cold little corner of Connecticut and we will show you cold. His comment reminds me of the phone calls i receive from my mom down in Vero Beach and she tells me they are wearing sweaters because it's so cold.
Pretty cold up here at the top of the world, too. Wonder what influence Jose and Cuervo had on the old Squids?

Nah, just a little wine. I don't get drunk anymore. Not since we had a holiday work party about 3 years ago and I disappeared from the party with no one knowing I was hugging the toilet upstairs. Everything was spinning and once you're there you wish you could get of it but you just have to wait it out... no thanks. A couple drinks and I'm good.

Sorry about the blank email thing with Paypal. Not sure why it's doing that but you can always check with allen (at) esoundz (dot) com if you want to be sure. Most likely it did because we don't have any issues with the paypal transaction itself - just apparently the confirmation email which will get sorted out next week.

When do we get the redeem code? Nothing in the user download area on ezounds yet and the last Email didn't contain any info about that.
Happy New Year All!

Thank you for participating in the Ultimate Studio Drums Group Buy! The turn out was massive with over 600 people joining in less than a month. Many extra sounds and bonuses were earned from the additional people joining beyond the expected 200. We are working hard through the holiday in order to start delivering the many downloadable items to so many people around the world. We have run into a few minor delays and hope to have the first phase of downloads ready this New Year's Eve or by New Year's Day tomorrow.
More like tomorrow or Saturday. There's only so much I could get the team to do on New Year's Eve. We've never had a GB with over 600 people before so we have to handle this very carefully. Doing our best!

We may make a custom DVD option for people who prefer that to downloading. It costs a little bit more plus shipping but might be a good option for those that don't want to download. Also a preinstalled on hard drive option some time next week. More on that later. A had a few glasses of wine and I feel fine.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Actually I find this pathetic. AFAIK the 30th of December is always right before New Years Eve and everyone has been aware of the growth of this GB on a daily basis (low price target was reached a while ago) so there are no real excuses for a resource shortcoming. This didn't exactly creep up on anyone. We did our part by committing to buying your product so you do yours by supplying it timeously please. Thanks.

Hooray for the custom DVD option! I'll gladly pony up for the DVD and shipping. At 15 - 20 kbs average it's gonna take me a few months to download all of these goodies.

Happy New Year to all! After we all install our loot we should have a Group Buy virtual drum circle to celebrate. :D

Phase 1 of delivery is the redeem code for Infinite Player and/or the Jazz Kit if you already have Infinite Player.

It also includes the OWD kits for download. All of that is actually a lot of custom stuff to put together just right. Remember we had to be clever to be able to make THESE OWD kits work with the Infinite Player instead of the OWD Player. So we had a few delays with that today but it should be solved by tomorrow and all of the stuff from phase 1 will be available to everyone as soon as possible.

Holiday weekend... tougher than usual. Ironically by Monday it's business as normal. I don't know what we were thinking ending it now and not on Monday in the first place. Of course we also had no idea this would be so HUGE! I thought maybe a nice 200 people mellow thing but this was just a knock out.

I understand your disappointment and we're sorry about the delay. I did everything in my power to try to make ALL of it happen on time but we ran into some set backs technically and also the timing of the end of the year holiday weekend turned out to be bad if there was say a snag... and there were a few. It's not as simple as if this was a regular product off the shelf. This was a custom made product JUST for this group buy and it required NI to play their part by getting us a new info nkx for the GUI (had a hitch), it required the OWD kits to work the way they were supposed to with the new scripts - came across a time consuming issue to fix with the effects which was unexpected delay... then of course the custom add on extras which we had no idea it was going to go this high in group numbers so we had to scramble to make those new hot out of the oven products available for this as well.

Overall it's still a really great deal. It could have been planned better as far as the end date and other things. But I can't go back and make it perfect. I can only make this ALL happen right and as quickly as possible. We've made some nice gestures as well that hopefully make up for a minor wait time (would be longer if it was shipped and cost more). So we ask that everyone is patient and understanding about what is involved in this custom made product and the challenges we're dealing with to get this all out to everyone as quickly as possible.

What a lovely way to bring in the New Year! Nothing like a bit of mean spirited ranting to serve no purpose other than to make someone else feel bad.

You're off to a good start...

I remember when they used to say "Expect 6 to 8 weeks for delivery". I send them a nasty letter in the post and they sent me a message back via carrier pigeon that I should be patient because it's totally worth it. They sent me a grand piano (also via carrier pigeon who quit after they made him carry a Piano and on New Year's Eve) as an extra thank you for my patience.

Just kiddin' But you make a very good point. Also this is like 30 different products in one. Over 30 individual downloads and different ways to get all of the extras. Just a couple of the extras (like the EZ Player Pro and Infinite Player) alone normally cost as much or more than the cost of this group buy bundle. So, a little wait so we can "measure twice, cut once" and supply 600+ people with the right thing is important.

There was another issue with referencing the various mix versions for Kit 4 and Kit 10. It has to be referenced a certain way because of the sample names. NI had done something with OWD DL to make it work but to get it to work with IP we had to be clever... OWD was never SUPPOSED to work with Infinite Player. We had to figure out a way so you guys didn't have to buy TWO players (which would have made this thing cost almost twice as much). It was tricky but we did it! So please, I see most of you are very patient about it and I know out of 600 people there are going to be people who are and aren't so much... but if you're reading and understanding what I'm saying perhaps that perspective makes a difference. It's not like it is ONE download of Alchemy (cool program btw) or something. This is a SLEW of stuff we're talking about. Gigabytes and gigabytes of downloads all for $99. Worth the wait for this to all be handled just right I think and I hope everyone can appreciate that and cut us some slack.
