I don't know if this is a bug in Falcon (mac), but I couldn't work out why Falcon wasn't finding new libraries when I put them in the same folder as the factory library. Turns out you first need to run the standalone version of Falcon for it to scan for new libraries. Then when you load the plugin version they'll appear.

UVI emails Falcon vouchers to users after registration. I suspect NFR licences wouldn't qualify.mrfrenkie wrote:Hi! Where i can find Falcon voucher if i have Not For Sale licence? Thanks!

I've started up Falcon in stand alone mode. How to I import the new sound banks into it? I've already moved them to the UVI sound banks folder but they're not showing up in Falcon.

I just put them in the same folder as the factory bank, loaded standalone, and then followed instructions as per manual page 11...

Check your "Preferences > SoundBanks" see if the folder is listed as automount as well.

Dumb question - did you transfer the license to your iLok ? I don't think the libraries show up in the browser unless they are licensed (unless I'm mistaken, I had the same issue - was so excited to try it out I forgot to transfer the license to my iLok!)wagtunes wrote:I've started up Falcon in stand alone mode. You don't have to 'import' new Libraries if you stick them in the same folder as the factory library (or add the path to the library in preferences) - they magically appear in the browser when you start Falcon.

Thanks. I just put the whole Vintage Legends folder onto the C drive and pulled it up in preferences.otristan wrote:Check your "Preferences > SoundBanks" see if the folder is listed as automount as well.
Have a question about the sound libraries.
First off, still haven't received a response from support about how to create my own UVI file when my sound library is complete, which is about 2 weeks away from release. I put in a ticket back when I first purchased Falcon. I've been very patient but I'm running out of time as far as how long I can wait for an answer if I'm going to release this set when I'd like to.
When I do finally get this put together, does it also have to be registered with iLok for people to use it? If so, what is the procedure? I have never sold a product before using iLok and have no clue how to do it.
Thanks for any assistance you can give me on these matters.

Glad it's not just me then!db3 wrote:I actually did the sameMikeCallon wrote:Dumb question - did you transfer the license to your iLok ? Although, I only got a missing iLok licence prompt when I ran the Falcon standalone version. The VST version didn't report anything, so I wasn't sure why they weren't appearing even though they were in the same folder as factory.

Eventually got it figured out. Looking forward to checking these sets out.MikeCallon wrote:Glad it's not just me then!db3 wrote:I actually did the sameMikeCallon wrote:Dumb question - did you transfer the license to your iLok ? Yes, it would be good if the VST version gave the same error message on launch. I don't use the standalone version so it took me a while to figure out why it wasn't listing the new library.
