of course if I have to ask I might of answered my own question
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

I'd like to be able to say I am a keyboard player someday. I write with the keyboard, but I'm not much at performing with the keyboard or piano...AndrewSimon wrote:Looks like we have a bunch of keyboard players here.

I don't play a keyboard at all; I've been a guitarist for more than 24 years; I just don't see the point of these endless guitarist cockfight threads where everyone thinks they're f**king Antonio Montanna, meng..AndrewSimon wrote:Looks like we have a bunch of keyboard players here.

I stopped watching TV (excpet for Detroit Redwing games and Family Guy, yeah go Wings!) cuz of all the reality drama shite, and now I see this stuff happening on a guitar amp thread. Too funny.
I was so caught up in gettin a high gain metal example up, I forgot to eq the lows out on the drum sample, a little too much double bass I guess, but I thought it would fit the example.
I have the Soldano Hotrod 50+ and matching 2x12 cab with Celest. Vintage 30s in it( http://soldano.com/newsiteapril/html/hotrod.html),mine almost exactly like this pic (http://www.eurotubes.com/hotrod50.jpg) with the snakeskin which was bought used with a few custom mods done to it. One main input, the 2nd input was turned into a pedal input for channel switching to clean or dirty channels. Also has two mini toggle switches. One turns the CLEAN channel to a more overdriven CRUNCH. The other toggle switch changes the voicing from either VINTAGE or MODERN sounding.
Now that you mention it, and reading on their site, I forgot that it does have a line level effect loop out that I could go direct in with that. That's possible right? The amp has been at my friend's jamming place for so long I forgot I could do that, but it hadn't crossed my mind since I got a decent computer recording setup last year. I know I tried that years ago going into an old SB Live, and using its onboadrd effects in the amps effects loop. My friend was paranoid about damaging his Brunetti combo amp, because he was saying if the amp is not feeding power to the speaker out it can fry the amp or something, so he uses the DI-redbox for that.
