hello, long time i didn't test your great plugin ( 03/2009 is the last version I've )
if this can help :
in Usine(sensomusic.com) if i drag and drop your plugin(old version you've post here as midiLooper20090910.zip ) on a track, a midi in module is created automatically, i push rec, enter some notes , stop , play start..ok
With the new version you post , no midi in module is created, i add one manually, i push rec, enter some notes , stop , play don't start and cant start it even manually..
?

ok, it doesn't add the midi in module in usine because it has audio inputs and outputs. they don't do anything and aren't needed in usine, and if you want to, you can disable them using the pizmidi.ini file as described below.
make a text file named "pizmidi.ini" in the same folder as midiLooper, and add the following lines:
as for why it didn't play at first, i have no idea. let me know if it happens again and i'll take a closer look.

Update:
- Added "Wait for Next Bar" option for playing/switching sequences, per-slot
- Added optional direct midi output to an external device, for hosts that don't handle midi output from plugins
- Decreased annoyingness of demo mode text

perhaps its the next step to think about chaining patterns together with some kind of script to put them in order.
so for instance pattern 1 plays and then pattern 2 and then 4 and then back to 1 5 times and then pattern 8 20 times etc etc etc.
in live use you could have a pattern vamping until the singer enters and then when he does switch to a chain that has the form of the song with fills in the right places etc.

hi thank you for your great work.
couple of things
i tried with reaper ( reaper 64bit Wnd7 64 bit if this is matter)
with single track midi there is no problem but if i use the multitrack midi for example a yamaha style file ( converted to midi) i get Cpu overload.
its also same in FL 9.6 .
and one q :
is it possible to split long midi notes according to the scale/chords change
i made a video capture for this :

( sory if this discussed before)
greetings
Yıldırım.

i thought about this a little... my idea is to have two settings for each slot:Tony Ostinato wrote:perhaps its the next step to think about chaining patterns together with some kind of script to put them in order.

- number of times to play: either "forever" or a finite number.
- what to do next: either stop, or switch to a different pattern.
this appeals to me more than a linear sequencer-type arrangement. combined with mute/play groups, i think it would be pretty flexible.

it doesn't deal with multitrack midi files yet, but just keeps the last track... can you send me a problematic file?yellukhan wrote:hi thank you for your great work.

i see what you mean. i can add an option to shift notes immediately.and one q :

by the way, you probably know this but in that clip you don't have "force to scale" checked, so it's only transposing based on the interval between the "Root Note" (under Note Triggering) and bottom note in the chord, without fitting the other notes to the chord.

i was over excited about making video quiclky , its my fault ..
and would be great with split/shift ( i dont know which one is correct
for the terminology ) long notes with scale/chords changes!
how can i send the example midi file email or you want to a link to download?

one more thing i want to ask:
is it possible to stick the Loop Area
with the horizontal zoom changes + horizontal scrolling
its plays where you select before but in visually shows somewhere else when i change the zoom or slide position .
