Hey Andy,
Thanks for processing my mp3. Your compressor is much more transparant then I thought it would be. Nice. The compressor I normally use is the standard cubase 4 compressor. The next in the chain is a stereo enhancer followed by the standard cubase 4 maximizer fot getting a little 'oompf' back in the lows and the sparkles in the highs. That's why the demo mp3 has a little to much high I think for your compressor.
I am a little reserved because you normally have to tweak a little to get the most out of a buss compressor but it sound nice.
Maybe it is already asked before or you did mention it in your settings but has the compressor latency and/or how much ms does it look ahead?
I'm Looking forward the day your demo is available.
Thanks again for processing, much appreciated.

You mean being on the mac with big money in the pockets is worse than having been on a pc with small money in the pockets?bduffy wrote:Looking forward to it: I need more Mac stuff!

You know, there was a time recently where I was thrilled about using a smaller set of plugins...must keep...the gearlust...at bay!!shogger wrote:You mean being on the mac with big money in the pockets is worse than having been on a pc with small money in the pockets?bduffy wrote:Looking forward to it: I need more Mac stuff!![]()

Actually, I do need a good buss compressor. I have the UAD one, but it keeps disappointing me; I may have rushed to buy it, should've waited on this one. I love the Waves SSL Buss Comp, but well, $800 is too much, even for the new Bling-duffy!

Ha ha. Hey, you don't have to love everything they make, you know.fjolle wrote:uh-hu..bduffy wrote: I have the UAD one, but it keeps disappointing me;
To be fair, I do need to work with it longer.

I suppose it depends on what you're looking for, as with most other stuff.bduffy wrote:Ha ha. Hey, you don't have to love everything they make, you know.fjolle wrote:uh-hu..bduffy wrote: I have the UAD one, but it keeps disappointing me;![]()

I don't like the UAD buss compressor either. I bought it on a whim with a big discount.
I never use it
