Excellent, then I'm not being a pain ;) Another request, F1 and 2 on/off switches accessible via MIDI

Post

Full MIDI CC control is also pending.

Post

Some polyphonic modes for the arp please :-) combinations of chord and other modes would be great.

That one's also noted :)

Here's another one for you.. As far as I can tell you cant do this. Arp as a modulation source only (no note sequencing).

And I will officially request. . wavetables. I would pay for that update. I can only imagine all the possibilities if you combined wave tables with all the methods of combining oscillators. I know it's a tall order but you would have something very special on your hands.

Post

@monk_volcano Regarding wavetables: Any more details? A SF2 or WAV file can be used as oscillator right now. I guess you mean a-la Waldorf, right?

Notch filters would be nice, esp with all the bright additive harmonic chaos that is possible ;)

Post

Nice one, added.

How about this? An overall velocity knob for the arp to raise/lower all the values at once, and possibly a 'spread' knob like in Catanya. In fact, a whole mode that functions like Catanya would be super-incredible :) maybe I'm going a bit overboard though :D but seriously, Corona is becoming one of my all-time favorites. I'm eager to see how it progresses over time.

Yesterday I made a really satisfying piano patch in Corona, really this synth is so versatile, I'm so happy I bought it

No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

It can work like that if all of the velocity steps are 0.

 Awesome!

Oh wait, I think the idea is that you can play standard notes and just the modulation arp pattern is running, so it will affect the filter for example.

We have pending Alt/Shift + Click/Mouse Wheel to move all arp bars at once.

Cool, but with a knob it could be easily automated to steadily increase in a song for example, unless the Alt/Shift + Click/Mouse Wheel can be automated?

I think, when modulating in/out somme of the combined OSCs, Corona tends to sound like it's scanning wavetables already. Don't forget you can modulate the Levels of the OSC 2 and 3 to get timbres shifting around and create a shimmering wavetable-ish PPG-ish Waldorf result. Some of the Drive shapes can help to get that gritty glittering edge as well. Modulate the OSC Levels in opposite directions to blend outputs against ea. other. It's not the same as a table scan but it 'sounds' similar for sure. Tables are more versatile but I thing George would have to build the synth OSC engine from scratch to make that happen ;) Corona seems to be more based on timbres that result from complicated calculations of samples within a sound. It's completely different but similar sounds are possible.
