No as I said I am referring to the first demo - its on their website player called Resynthesis. It would be good if on the Harmor page there were similar demos, rather than short tunes. There is one video of the speech sample being mangled in Harmor - if that was a bit more methodical and on the audio player it would be really good to show what you can do, better than the current tunes just showing a few presets.olepro wrote:

I know exactly what you are saying.Hunter wrote:No as I said I am referring to the first demo - its on their website player called Resynthesis. The fact from the start was that you were criticizing IL to not have some good video's showing all that Harmor can do and you used Camel Audio and Alchemy as an example how to do it.
But when Alchemy was a virgin there was not all the fine video's you are referring to, they came later on... and i'm shure there will be for harmor too when times come
That's all i try to say...... over an out.
Hamor is great, and
Alchemy is great

Scott is planning videos, so if you can tell us what you'd like to see covered..
In the Resynthesis preset folder there are some presets demonstrating what you can do with vocals that we got recorded.

Is it normal, that the Link switch is not working for settings in the ENV window?
This makes it complicated, if you just want to do a sound with 2 OSCs, which should use the same Envelope and Filter characteristics.

Really like those metallic leads can be created with this synth:

Rob Lee will make a lot of stabs on it, I guess.

Indeed yes, it just sounds so... delicate, and it is so very fast and easy to make it sound like a millionIgro wrote:Really like those metallic leads can be created with this synth:

I discovered a small bug, which seems to be caused by the distortion module (using Softsat). It's a click noise, which only appears after rendering:

Yes but you can create sound 1 with all the settings/envelopes on part A and then copy & paste it to part B (use the button "Global" on the left side).Nokenoku wrote:Is it normal, that the Link switch is not working for settings in the ENV window?
Another way is to copy the envelopes manually to the other part.
You don't have to use both parts to mix 2 timbres to 1 sound because each part already got 2 timbres (which can hold different sounds and can also be detuned).Nokenoku wrote:This makes it complicated, if you just want to do a sound with 2 OSCs, which should use the same Envelope and Filter characteristics.

Amazing synth!!! Just had a few minutes to play through some of the presets and a few of them are fabulous in a way that's new and absolutely unique sounding. This synth is in my top five favorites already.
However, I could only find a help file ... no manual. I haven't tried printing it, but as the graphics are wide, I suspect I won't find a useable hardcopy when I try.
I couldn't locate a downloadable manual on the Imageline web site either. Is a PDF available or is one forthcoming?

@Wildfunk
For the sound I wanted to make, I needed both parts (A and B).
And then it's just uncool to tweak the envelope, if only the half of the sound reacts to it.

in the envelope editor's menu there's an option to copy from one part to the otherAnd then it's just uncool to tweak the envelope, if only the half of the sound reacts to it.

I prefer dedicated env to shared env. That's one of my fav point of Sytrus. Endless capavility of envelopes. If using share env ,in any way, I should link it to several parameter in the matrix afterward. No big differences.
