Just wanted to add my support of this excellent sounding synth
There is a certain weightiness and presence to the oscillators that is rare in the vsti world (i am used to playing the nord g2 which has wonderful 'weight' in it's oscillators that unfortunately no softsynth has got near yet imo). It has a very colourful character too especially in the higher frequencies - really excellent 'fizz' that maintains a lot of presence. Really, well done on this synth!
Would love to see a decent preset browser (crossing fingers!). Even something very simple along the lines of linplug alpha's browser would be very welcome.

Apologies if this has been answered previously , but I was wondering if I need to have Visual C Runtime installed to use Mausynth? Ive downloaded it twice and get an error on loading related to a missing "mscvrt.dll" . A quick Google search shows that DLL to be related to Microsoft Visual C Runtime. Tried opening mausynth in FLStudio and Ableton , on XP Pro with the same error ocurring on each.
Thanks
Thanks
I meant to do that.

Thanks for the quick reply Mr.Bungle ... Time for me to poke around my machine and get it back in order I think , as I could swear I had it installed previously.
Anyway , really looking forward to trying Mausynth after all the positive responses..Thanks again

I've been trying MauSynth for the last few days and I'm loving it
!
This is a great synth with a really chunky, fat sound, the sound quality reminds me of the Tyrell N6. At first I was a little discouraged by the few unlabeled knobs, but as soon as I Automapped it in my Novation ReMote SL, the hidden labels showed up in the Automap and in the Novation's LCDs, and everything became clear and self-explanatory. I will upload a labeled image of the unlabeled section later, so that newcomers to this gem don't have to loose any time finding out for themselves. I will also uplopad my Automap (3 pages, for layout clarity purposes) and post the link here for Novation users to use with this synth.
Only criticism/suggestion I'd like to make would be that the GUI (I'm using the Metal one) could easily be just a little smaller by not having so much empty space between the knobs.
Also, a button to turn off the delay fx would be handy for sparing CPU cycles when the delay is not in use.
But that's just a small problem for those with small laptop screens, especially when compared with the sheer sound quality and sound programming capacity of this baby!
Thanks to the developer and keep up the Excellent Work!

I thought you had muted me...
Now, seriously, if you didn't try this synth yet, you should, it sounds really good.

Another sneak peek.

compare to
The best part is that MauSynth 2 can go seamlessly from clean modern sound to the nasty 70's stuff. Not much longer till the release!
