Correction:PeterL wrote:Just one problem in Wavelab7 (64bit):
I can't select the COLOR choices, means no window pops up (Demo-Version 1.0d).
The window is there if you click on COLOR, but behind the plugin window.
So if you want to select (1970,1980,Now) you have to move the main plugin window every time.

Both demos are nice.T-CM11 wrote:Just tried something myself:Ingonator wrote:Cool. I should try this with my Moog Slim Phatty soon. I guess i got a comparable sound along the presets i have created with the Phatty (in fact i already made a full bank for it but still don't think it's good enough to publish...).valhallasound wrote:I spent several hours in Don Gunn's studio today, recording some VintageVerb examples. Just started playing with VintageVerb and it really sounds fantastic IMO.

Slim Phatty + Evolver drums + V3
I wanted to test with the Slim Phatty myself but then discovered this at KVR today:

Just testing this with ValhallVintageVerb. The synth seems to sound great, especially for a free one.

I really didn't want to buy this as I already have VRoom but I just had to try the demo. Wow, hooked. Those spacious modulated verbs are ay-may-zing, instant Shoegazy goodness. Lush.

I used two VVV today on a cover of Skyfall. 1 ambience, 1 plate and a bit of Freqecho.
Worked great.

Oh great, I just knew I shouldn't have demoed it. Now I just had to get it before January.
There's that new and wow factor, of course, but I think this is your best offering yet, Sean. How can something that sounds so good use so little CPU?
Love the GUI, as well, although the modern style looks a little drab by comparison. I find myself switching to 70s mode just for the look of it.

The NOW mode used to be pure white background with black knobs. Some beta testers complained that it hurt their eyes (as in PHYSICALLY hurt their eyes), so I added a slight grey gradient to the background. Now the NOW mode is easier to use, but some of the original humor is lost. I really wanted to have a GUI that was nothing but totally flat 2D black and white.ariston wrote:Oh great, I just knew I shouldn't have demoed it. Now I just had to get it before January.

As far as "hurting the eyes," this color scheme got rejected during the development process:
