Currently any presets that I save won't show up in the browser until the interface is closed and then launch again or a new instance is loaded. I'm running Logic 9.1.8 and 10.6.8.

Oh my
That's a beast of a machine ! (after a few minutes playing with it).
550 is... well.... sweat (?)
Maybe that's the mode that people refer with the phrase "Hold on, Sugar ! daddy's got a sweet tooth TONIGHT !" ?

Professional technicians are assessed by the abilities they possess.
Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

Well, when I say browser, I guess I meant the built-in pull down preset menu.

FR: Right now, when running in stereo, it's possible to do cross-instance overlay with only one channel. (e.g. One channel of EQ 1 and one channel of EQ 2). It's not possible to do stereo (sum) to stereo (sum) comparison, or even multi-channel comparison.(let's say 16 mono/stereo channels)
I know this is not the purpose of this plug-in but it would really cool if the number of channels for cross-instance overlay would be independent of what 'mode' the plug-in is running in. Basically I'm talking about the Blue Cat's FreqAnalyst Multi way of implementing this.
P.S. I don't seem to be able to run EQuilibrium in surround mode in Reaper.

If you're leaving your instances in m/s mode then overlaying the Mid channels will give you the stereo sum.gembez wrote:FR: Right now, when running in stereo, it's possible to do cross-instance overlay with only one channel. What format are you trying to use for reaper? Surround support requires VST3, AU, AAX or RTAS. To do it with VST2, you'd end up with a massive installer.

Very likely you're running out of CPU.solidtrax wrote:I have it in highest quality now and double clicked to add a band.. boosted it a little and suddenly I had an extremely loud 5 second super distortion happening.. I forgot to put a limiter on the master so the beep in my ears will probably stay for a few hours.. (ok kidding, but it was loud.. scary shit)
Windows 8 x64
Cubase 6.5.4 x64
EMU 1820
Going to test it further with caution now..
In lower quality nothing like this noise burst is happening, but in the highest quality, it has a life on it's own, very weird noise and sound mangling happens. Maybe my Core i5 3470 can't handle it? I'm not sure what it is..
Highest resolution is really for once you've set the EQ up, configured phase, and you're tweaking the advanced parameters, for the render of a final master. It has about 2sec of latency in linear phase!

The 550 is a lot of fun to work with... But that 250 blows my mind! And I have a soft spot for the 110!Tp3 wrote:Oh my![]()

Got it, thanks. But that would still be limited to two instances, right?DaveGamble wrote:If you're leaving your instances in m/s mode then overlaying the Mid channels will give you the stereo sum.
VST2 on Win 8/64. Reaper doesn't support VST3 yet.DaveGamble wrote: What format are you trying to use for reaper? Surround support requires VST3, AU, AAX or RTAS. To do it with VST2, you'd end up with a massive installer.

I'm getting what appears to be an issue on Mac 10.8.3 in Studio One VST3 and Logic 9 32 bit AU.
When I stop playback in the DAW the meters appear to hover around -90 and never clear. Is this intended?

Also, I'm getting a crash in Logic 9.1.8 with 10.6.8 when I have multiple EQs loaded and I right click on the analyzer button for different options.
