I recently discovered "Silverwood" and "Herald Brass" - they are unbelievably good. Now I only wish I had a breath controller... ;-)

I should have bought Reaktor much earlier...

Cheers,

Oh, by the way, I recently did release my first and way more humble Ensemble:

"Toms Midi Mangler"

http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 9&t=406683

Image

It recreates some of the functionality of Lives Midi Devices like Random Pitch and Velocity and adds Note Probability and a Note Range. My initial motivation was to have this available in other software too, especially in Bitwig Studio where you can just drop it wherever you want into the device chain.

Just run a simple Midi Clip through it for endless variation...

Cheers,

Tom

Is it a bird, is it a plane? ;)

"MoGi is not a Synthesiser nor is it a Sequencer, it's both Instrument and Instrumentalist combined, producing a uniquely creative Mystical Music Box."

The psychedelic neon kills it for me. Do they do any normal looking 'easy-on-the-eye' skins?
Dude, like 90% of the music in the 1960s was made on acid, this just gives you a great reason to drop and produce!

Just wanted to call your attention to what is IMO one of the most dazzling Reaktor ensembles I've seen

Lenin http://www.native-instruments.com/en/co ... show/4109/

It's hypermodular, takes up 8 screens, has six oscillators, includes (I believe) every conceivable oscillator and filter type available in Reaktor including wavetables, and offers you five sequencers which can MODULATE EACH OTHER IN REAL TIME. What this means in practical terms is that you can easily build up layers of sounds that go on playing unpredictably, without repeating themselves, for long periods of time.

When I first opened it up I thought "this is completely incomprehensible, I will never figure this out." But when I took the time to go through the excellent included and built in documentation and help, I got dizzy thinking about the limitless possibilities.

Now most other virtual synths seem kind of unsatisfying. I guess I'm spoiled now. [g]

Enjoy, and let me know if you like it

Thanks so much for sharing this gem. What a deep monstrosity. I could probably get lost in this for days. Of course Reaktor itself is something you could get lost in for years.

Don't know how I missed this one.

Another "weird and wonderful" ensemble by Everything Turns, called SyARia, works for Reaktor 5.8.0 and up (full version), costs £8 at intro

Looks interesting. I wonder if the audio demos will arrive before the final release
