Does anyoone knows if Ultranalog VA-1 presets can be converted to Live's Analog format?

Thank you for posting that... I stand corrected!

Note that the OSC 1 panels are duplicated for Osc2 and are not shown here.
Also note that the effects topologies are slidable racks instead of a simple graph.
Available on iTunes, Amazon, etc.

No one has yet mentioned that not only is full version of VA-2 on sale for $149 this month but it also comes with a free sound bank of the customer's choice.

AAS customers can get it for only $89 until 3rd November. (I got a newsletter from AAS.)

AAS support:
Just a quick message to let you know that we've just released updates for Analog Essentials, Ultra FX, Starlight, 30.8676 Hz, Angelicals, Cinémathèque, Sounds from BLKRTZ, and Plastic Pop to make them compatible with Ultra Analog VA-2. You'll find what has changed as well as links to the latest installers of the banks that you own at the end of this message.
Best regards,

I love Ultra Analog VA-1 and really think it's one of the very best sounding synths out there, but agree with others here that the developer must have left the building as releasing as new a version having a small tabbed interface and only adding effects is almost beyond bizarre really. You wouldn't even need to check with customers as just a few days here at KVR forums and you would know the vast majority prefer all on one large page and don't like tabs at all.

"The vast majority?" Confident in that without even a poll, eh?
I'd rather have well-organized tabs than too huge a window. I'm not the only one.

So does the installer give you the option of not installing the player? Not a big deal but for those of us already awash in redundant VSTs, we don't need more.Sequent wrote:The executable is used to install the VA-2 version. For VA-1 you have to use the import function as in the past.
I completely agree with those who laud AAS support ... it's never been less than first rate in my experience. However, the readme file that comes with the new banks really ought to be edited to clarify the import procedure. It made me think I downloaded the wrong install file for the two upgraded banks I downloaded.

I can't make up my mind on the tabs yet...I am 50/50. However for 29 bucks it was a no-brainer. $149 for this synth however, would be insanity.

$149 isn't a lot if it sounds good. Does it sound good?Kindred wrote:$149 for this synth however, would be insanity.
