Hello lars, we have tested 6.5.1 GUI size with Logic, AU Lab, Reaper and Cubase and it seems to work just fine. Could you please give more details about your system configuration?

Post

Hi,

I just reinstalled 6.5.1. and checked again. GUI resize not possible in Bitwig 1.3.9 and Logic Pro X 10.2.2.

OSX 10.11.3
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB

When I go to the menu point "2.0x" is selected and "1.0x" and "1.5x" are greyed out, but the actual GUI size is 1.0x.

What else do you want to know?

Right now if Discovery Pro detects a Hi-DPI resolution it will use the 2x bitmaps in a 1x window. It has always been like that.

So are you running a Retina resolution (i.e. 2x-1440) or anything else?

Post

Discovery 6.5.0 behaves differently. I can select different GUI sizes and make the GUI larger, so 1.0x would be like the default size in 6.5.1 and 1.5 and 2.0 would be larger than that.

I run my display and the highest possible resolution.

Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback. 6.5.0 behavior was not intended to be like that :) We will get a better GUI size menu, so time to work on this and make it available in 6.5.2.

I prefer the way 6.5.0 works. It looks like this

Yes, but I don't think it's using 2x bitmaps. 6.5.2 should use them on a 1.5x window and will look much sharper.

By the way, I'd recommend removing your e-mail address :)

Post

I'm more concerned about the GUI size than sharpness. In 6.5.1 the GUI is too small to effectively work with it.

Post

Understood, we will cover both on the next update.

Great! :D

VST3 support ?

Post

VST3 is very likely to be supported on the next update :)

Nice :tu:

I only use VST3 x64 on FL Studio.

Thanks

We have a new 6.5.2 Beta at Members Area for Windows and Mac.

- Mac (x32/x64) / Windows (x64) VST3 support.
- Multi-channel support.
- Mac Standalone.
- GUI fixes.

We're looking for feedback. A user reported crashes on load with a Retina Macbook 2013 (Intel Iris Pro + NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M) so anyone with this system please report if it's working as expected.

I would prefer to have at least listed what i've bought so far in my user account (like the Discovery Pro 6.x and i'm not asking for a download link). Why that isn't possible?

Thank you!
