Hey, you can always do a soundset or two for Bazille and sell it.

I hear what you're saying.Unfortunately I spent all my spare cash on Geist,Serum,Codex,Z3ta,Blue II,Dune 2 and Predator. It was just a case of bad timing with regard to Bazille coming out when I'd spent all my money. I was sorely tempted still, but eating, paying my rent and utility bills won out. I understand that you can save presets even with the demo, but I'd prefer to own the synth if I were to distribute presets for it.
I'm working on presets for all the instruments listed above, apart from Geist which is for my personal productions. The Predator set should be dropping pretty soon.Hopefully,I can get back my investment on those and then add Bazille to my arsenal. Of course that's all up to you guys and whether you're into what I do.

I know I'd like that Yemski in Motion set for Albino, at some point.
Sadly can't find any audio demos for it anymore

Sorry, I've defunct urs at u-he dot com. can't answer emails myself anymore, am glad when I mange a few forum posts a day. The autoreply also saysyemski wrote:Urs wrote:Coupons will be valid until well after Hive is on sale - but it might be during the public beta period.kuzami wrote:So when do you estimate a release? Was hoping to be able to use my coupon on this.
Atm I can not estimate anything - Howie has announced a long list of niggles which might throw me back for another week or two. (ah, just saw it, not all that bad)
Hi Urs,
Just a quick request regarding an email proposal I sent you on sound design work specifically for Hive, with a link to various examples of my work. After sending the email I received an automated response, saying that you were currently overwhelmed by emails and that I would have to wait for a response from your new private email address or contact Janey. Obviously, time is of the essence with things like this and you may not get a chance to evaluate my work,or consider my proposal, prior to the release of the synth,if it's at the the bottom of huge pile of emails. I've looked on your website for contact details for Janey but can't see anything there, so I wondered if you could give me her contact details via P.M, so I can redirect my correspondence to her.
Thanks.
Yemski.

Linplug discontinued that one as far as I know.I don't know if they have any plans for it now.
I've got a set of layered patches,(about 250+) ,which I released after that which take the Yemski in Motion thing a bit further that I'm setting free either tomorrow or Saturday.
It depends on a few things I've got to do.
After much procrastination(one,(one of my special powers),I've decided to definitely set it free. So look out for that.

Will do, thanks!
I remember Peter saying I can get the YIM soundset if I just e-mail him... and the encrypted ZIP is still downloadable from here:
http://www.linplug.com/download/fullversion.html
So I might just do that at some point

Cool. I assume that's Janey right? I thought since it was support that it was for customers only and in this case I'm offering you a service so I didn't think to send anything via those channels. Thanks,I'll send it there.Urs wrote:Sorry, I've defunct urs at u-he dot com. can't answer emails myself anymore, am glad when I mange a few forum posts a day. It's a shame that Albino is no longer around. But if gave birth to two very capable son's Predator and Spectral,so it's all good.EvilDragon wrote:Will do, thanks!

Your service is related to u-he.
I believe Jayney is his wife, and the contact her is for personal matters.

I did that one cause some people complain about Bazille not having enough 'normal' sounds. Bazille can do normal quite well... so can a number of other synths.martingifford wrote: Not crazy about Bazille, but I like this patch: http://draigathar.org/sounds/B75.mp3
But out in the wild places where few other synths can even go, Bazille is still right at home. So I figure audio demos and presets are going to reflect this. Doesn't seem that interesting to me to focus on sounds that can be had elsewhere already.
Bazille is unique, fresh and full of character and the sound quality is superb. It's also not for everyone. My musical tastes are most satisfied out on the edge.

Two hours sleep over here. I was around a friend's studio until early in the morning, then had to get up early to let the maintenance guy in to do some repairs in my house. I misread the email to mean that Janey was an assistant of his and that I should contact her. A few hours sleep helped with my comprehension skills.zvenx wrote:Your service is related to u-he.

Pretty much everything that's knowable has been said. We're working on a few more things, but those are still experimental (such as the bell-type waveform that we then decided to drop for now). As we don't know for certain which of those features we'll keep, we can't really talk about them. I'm very excited about one in particular though, I won't be able to hold back once we know
Nevertheless the basic structure of Hive should be finished in a few days. With some luck we might have a nearly final UI and screenshots from next week.

Thanks, thats great news. For some reason, this is the synth I wanted the most of all 6 vsts i own, and of all that were released since year 2000
:) Somehow Im sure this synth will be my new inspiration.
