Hi kv331,

Ok. I will give that a try, and see if it fixes the issue.

Thanks,

Hi kvr331,

OK, Problem fixed.

I just deleted the second (duplicate) Presets Folder on my drive, and that fixed the duplicate presets issue I had.

No more duplicate programs, and the arrow keys are working fine to navigate the browser presets.

Thanks for the assistance,

Synthmaster is an Amazing synth, and so is your support, and development to constantly improve it

Have a Great Weekend,

How big is the GUI in pixels x pixels? Just wondering because those gray labels are very hard to read in the YT video, which is already zoomed in I suppose...

SM seems to have a nice bottom, at least on my headphones.

Please numerate the modulation matrix pages and give the option to swap the view from "target - source" to "source - target". This has became more or less standard. Please!

Big enough for me to demo it :)

Unlike a year ago when I last tried, this time installation worked :tu:

Lots of features, but the sound, oh my... It sounds so harsh and cold to me, the exact opposite of Sylenth if I dare say :?

Well if you think so don't waste your time with SynthMaster and I wish you a happy life with Sylenth

Great update! I didnt liked the synth before, but after working a bit on demo i started to like it, its sound. If i didnt had so many synths id probably take it to my library. Maybe some time in the future :)

Is that for real? Sylenth1 is harsh dirty unclean it sounds thin and not warm at all its damn sterile. I think all the media with the praise of sylenth1 distorted the minds of people. I think Sylenth1 is the opposite of what warm is.

This can throw this thread off topic very very easily. So before any sort of back and forth off-topic stuff starts going on, please, anyone who wants to debate Sylenth1's sound, make a new thread. :)

Yes, different people have different ideas what warm means... :)

You are right :)

Synthmaster is a very warm synth IMHO.
In that budget (c. $50 on sale) powersynth range if you want clean and clinical then it's Hybrid 3 IMHO...
Grungy and growly with lots of low end on that budget is Z3ta+2.
Sonar Platinum, Ignite and Ableton Live 9 DAWS
AIR Hybrid 3, Synthmaster, Z3ta+2, Addictive Drums 2, True Piano Amber, Rapture, Dim Pro, BFD Eco, AAS Strum, Addictive Keys, Synth 1 VSTs
Nektar LX61, Korg MicroKey and Akai Pro LPD8 Pad

Hey, thanks for the update! Amazing stuff with the new oscillators and the bipolar mode for the envelopes. Can't complain about more presets either. :)

But two small things I've noticed. First this, I think it's pretty self-explanatory:

Image

That is, the first FX tab on the second layer has no labels on the controls. The first layer is just fine. Is that just me? Fresh install, 2.7.5, 32bit.

And second, and this one's a bit hazy, it's been awhile since I encountered it (and I encountered it once). I had trouble installing the 2.7.1 version when it came out, I had skipped the betas .. I installed it on top of the old installation, doing that has worked for me previously. But when opening the plugin, it hung the sequencer (both energyXT and Studio One). Well I got it working by doing a clean install in another location, no big deal. But why I'm telling this now is that I wonder if it got hung because previously I had been using a custom skin and since the update got stuff that the previous version (and skin) didn't ---- I wonder if it might have hung because it may have tried to use a (incompatible) skin made for a previous version? If it's possible, perhaps there should be some sort of check for it ..

Anyways, perhaps I'm a bit late to say it, but congrats for the 2.7 series -- and thanks. ;) Synthmaster gets regular use over here, since 2009 already. The good thing just keeps getting better.

I always find this quality order strange: good, better, best. I have seen it before with some other synth. To me better is worse than good, so to speak, like, draft -> better > good > best.

Is there no init patch? With those zillions of parameters it would make sense to include an init patch, maybe even several, i.e. one for each type of synthesis.

When the demo time ends and one has notes sounding, there is no way to kill them.

There's the "New" section up in the middle just left of the engine settings, choices include "Reset Preset", "Load Default" and a choice of seven templates to start from. I think that should do the trick.
