When you hit the migrate button it should send an email that gives you the migration link.

Okay, so here's my post. We're still firing up all the ovens and emails and what not, but:
We've kicked off a user migration process today. You will have seen an email about that from FXpansion, but we are essentially bringing everyone over to the inMusic Profile platform. You can kick this off in your FXpansion user-accounts. We're moving everyone over to bfddrums.com.
BFD1, BFD2, and BFD Eco will not be migrated to your inMusic Profile account as they have been legacy products for a long time now. We need to get all legacy software users onto the BFD3 platform now.
Everyone who needs to can upgrade to BFD3 for a super low price by entering their BFD1/BFD2/BFD Eco serial code as a promotional code at the BFD Drums website when checking out.
There is a build of BFD3.4 available which introduces a new authorization system, some new features, some fixes against 3.3, and lays the groundwork for future point releases to come. We are working on a 3.4.1 right now to address some known issues, and will address more as they are reported.
All serial registrations and downloads and authorizations are handled through the new BFD License Manager. Please don't attempt to register any serials through the inMusic Profiles page - it will not work currently.
Just proceed through the migration process to get all of your products moved over to an inMusic Profile account, and then you never need to use the fxpansion.com website for BFD products ever again.
------
Long-term we are designing new versions of BFD. I've assembled a small beta team at present, but I will be looking at expanding this soon. I spot a few users in this thread who may want to get involved in that.
You can expect a BFD4 in the future, but I won't commit to a timeframe. It wont be years and years though!
The new BFD home page is www.bfddrums.com
The new forum is here: https://forum.bfddrums.com/
Feel free to PM me if you need anything; posting here might not be best because I wont get a notification.

I have no idea at all where I was supposed to have seen that.Mr Arkadin wrote: Mon Apr 19, 2021 5:19 pm When you hit the migrate button it should send an email that gives you the migration link.
There is no email from fxpansion, and the support page at inMusic is general, broad, opaque

I don't see anything except my current expansions. I have all except Jazz Noir anyway, but don't see an option to choose it.telecharge wrote: Mon Apr 19, 2021 5:26 pm Once you've migrated to inMusic/bfddrums.com, you should see this under BFD3 in "My Products".

Did you log in to the old fxpansion site? Do that first, there's a migration button (not very obvious but it's there), then hit that. I think you get a list of your stuff and have to hit the button called 'Send' to get the email with the link.jancivil wrote: Mon Apr 19, 2021 5:25 pmI have no idea at all where I was supposed to have seen that.Mr Arkadin wrote: Mon Apr 19, 2021 5:19 pm When you hit the migrate button it should send an email that gives you the migration link.

Yeah, I'm not seeing it.
lot of assumptions coming at me, nothing is useful. Finally got the email, and not before I'd posted I hadn't btfw and links take me several places none of which are of any actual use. I've gone around in the same circle three times to inMusic with a pointless account. BFD dot com is a fiction to me, click account and it is in fact inMusic.

Guys there is a Migration User Guide that I put together here:
http://cdn.inmusicbrands.com/BFD/Docs/B ... 190421.pdf
That should clear up any confusion. Let me know if it doesn't!

Go to your FXPansion account first, not Inmusic! Login, and then in your products overview, you should see a (pretty tiny) button saying "Migrate BFD products to InMusic". It's also explained in the PDF Drew linked above.jancivil wrote: Mon Apr 19, 2021 5:34 pm Yeah, I'm not seeing it.

Ok I have migrated. BFD dot com is a fiction. I would like the free expansion pack and the update but BFD dot com is only a buy opportunity here.

If I made an account at inMusic with one email address but my account at FXpansion used a different email address, will I end up with two accounts at inMusic when I transfer?
I had BFD Eco at FXpansion and a bunch of expansions. First I upgraded to BFD3 then I transferred the expansions. I'm not seeing the expansions. Do they take a while or have I buggered things up?

Surely there must be consensus by now...
