While having a lot of potential, developing and maintaining certain things in Reaktor seem to be quite difficult (builders could surely tell more). And NI has certainly f**ked up the Blocks UX in some aspects (most likely not the designers' fault) and definitely the marketing side. A bit more time and ressources on the development and a clear marketing strategy and campaign, I think, the Blocks framework could have been really something. In hindsight it seems it had been 'dammit, we need something fast for the next Komplete'...
So do you think they are not going to develop it further? I would hate if Blocks became abandonware.
Remember when reaktor 6 was released in 2015 ?
2019 saw the introduction of the fpp and N.I. saw the future verry bright with big name collaborations , member ?
Fast forward to today ,Toybox is one of the verry few active developers and Kodiak were the last official blocks from N.I.
So has blocks development stopped , I'd say Yes
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

There is still hope that they release Reaktor 7 with shed loads of new blocks but one can only dream

I've been a NI user for such a long time, and its sad they only have 1 synth with modern GUI. Being the fan of their synths I also realized how cool Kontakt is. I'm still on K12, skipped the upcoming versions. Maybe K15... Of course I could sell my license and keep only Kontakt 5. hmm, theres only one reason I dont sell K12, and thats Battery.

Speaking of Battery...if NI ever does get around to releasing a new version, I sure hope they put back some of the useful features that Battery 3 had. Particularly, the envelope overlays over the waveforms and pads with no samples assigned. Here's a video showing what went missing in Battery 4:

Hm, Okay there's another reason I can't sell K12, and the reason is simple. I would lost all the great Bundled Kontakt libraries like Maverick, India or Studio Drummer.... So they have clever marketing, like Arturia. You have to buy the whole bundle to keep the price 'OK'.
