- The speed of all 4 LFOs can be changed.
- 3 of them can also synced to BPM.
- The waveform of 3 of them can be changed.
- One of them can be routed freely to many different targets. The routing of the others is fixed.
Again, without trying it myself, I can only guess, and it looks to me that the one LFO on the GUI is completely separate from the three task-specific ones.
Type, Send, and Routing, probably correspond to Waveform, Amount, and Target respectively on other synths.

In the usual sense there is only one in my view. You know, the type of LFO that you assign via a mod matrix or slot. You decide what you want to do with it.fisherKing wrote: Wed Dec 09, 2020 7:51 pmok, that still leaves you with.... The vibrato LFO is fine with me because that is actually something I occasionally use an LFO for.
Not sure what exactly the two osc LFO's do. PWM?
I assume Loop Mode and Loop Speed are the parameters for those osc LFO's?

Just guessing, but maybe the one knob switches between the four LFOs? If it were just one knob with four routing options then it would just be one LFO but it sounds a little more interesting than that. We'll have to wait and see I suppose.

But I don't see any point about discussing this subject SO much as you all are doing.

If you've been around synths long enough then you should know that even synths that have the same feature set can sound very different. At this point you're just guessing how Warlock sounds. We're all just guessing but some of us are interested in actually hearing Warlock before we pass judgment and you've already made up your mind based on nothing more than a screenshot.AnX wrote: Wed Dec 09, 2020 7:46 pm if you've been around synths long enough, you can tell by the feature set what it's capable of (roughly)

What would this and Tal Mod have in common? (and if you are looking at price, the other Tal synths are 60 too, plus Tal stuff is very underpriced imho)

Makes me wonder, what is the key selling point of this synth? What does it do that other synths don't?zvenx wrote: Wed Dec 09, 2020 11:11 pm What would this and Tal Mod have in common? (and if you are looking at price, the other Tal synths are 60 too, plus Tal stuff is very underpriced imho)

With Mod it is the sound quality and the crazy mod capabilities, I suppose.

That's the way I see it. You just won't get the same features as on the 150 € plus synths.Vortifex wrote: Wed Dec 09, 2020 10:59 pm I think some should consider the price of this synth in relation to the price of his other synths, and maybe temper their expectations and/or complaints with regards to features accordingly.
That said, it's irritating to announce 4 LFO's, when there's only one LFO, apart from the hardcoded stuff which is in every synth. A LFO working somewhere in the background code which can't be seen, or assigned to anything else isn't really something you'd put into the feature list. As far as I can see from the GUI, this synth has 1 LFO, and that one can't be assigned to everything. Which is cool. I don't expect a 59 € to be featured like a 199 € synth. Maybe one LFO is enough for most sounds, when there's some hardcoded modulations possible in the oscillator, or filter sections. Firebird didn't have a big feature set either, and it was still possible to do a lot with it.
It's just that I like facts. And, fact is, the synth has 1 LFO. Period. No hard feelings.

this may surprise you, but one knob does not have to mean one function. and the developer himself said there are FOUR LFOs... read his comments before you post yours.chk071 wrote: Wed Dec 09, 2020 11:35 pmThat's the way I see it. and no one knows what this sounds like, feels like to work with. why not wait until we get there??

even if an lfo is hardwired to vibrato, it's still an lfo
even if all you can control is the speed, it's still an lfo
you seem to be claiming that unless all parameters are visible and it can be routed to any destination, its not an lfo..... that's not a fact. it might not meet your expectations, but that's irrelevant
