But on a serious note, it is due this November going by Nexus3 to Nexus4 release cycle.
Unlikely since I haven't started working on it yet. :hihi:

Who do you use for an internet provider and where are you? It seems some people can access the site and others can't.
Nope - so far no-one has said they can access it in the past couple of hours. Downforeveryone says it's down. Unless you can point to someone who can access it, it actually is down for everyone.

Not that it means anything more than the website is down. Prob just technicals.

It's back, some network upgrades had interrupted IPv4 connectivity but not IPv6, which explains why some people could see the site and others couldn't.

 Glad you aren't working on it yet. Long live Nexus4! :hihi:

It would be cool to have an expansion called Dance Orchestra 2 by Manuel Schleis, which would include useful and nice sounding instruments similar to ethnic instruments...

Many thanks. Your instruments are great. I like Dance Orchestra more. Hollywood Series sound more epic judging by the demo videos. They are great but I just do not need this style. Maybe I will buy Hollywood 3 Ethno separately.

The Nexus presets by Manuel Schleis are my favorite ones. They are great. Is it possible to categorize all the presets in Nexus and all the expansions on the site by author? It would be very convenient.

Post

in VPS Avenger you can search by Author, unfortunately in Nexus not :(

I like the combination of reFX Nexus and Manuel Schleis... It is a great combination.

I think Nexus ReFx should introduce Nexus subscribtion for all sounds for 10$/month or so. Times has changed. I don't see anybody in clear mind buying these expensive expansions when you can have, for example, all roland sounds for 3$ a month or many new serum/sylenth/spire patches for 10$/month on splice or get entire UVI catalog via sonic pass.
I can see myself buying new expansion packs for Rapid or Avenger to expand synth abilities, get new wavetables etc, but with nexus it's a different situation. Subscribtion is the only way for them to survive in the future. I am sure.

That's fighting talk round these parts, where subscription is usually compared unfavourably with the Third Reich.

For one thing - where do you get all Roland sounds for $3pm? Last time I checked it was $20pm.

But in general - I dunno. Nexus (and to a much lesser extent Avenger) seems to survive on a DJ culture that laps up the expansions, everything meticulously crafted to be the instant sound on whatever the subgenre of the month is. Maybe that era has passed, I don't know.

I'd have thought a subs option is coming through. When they moved to their own licensing and refx Cloud it sorta seemed inevitable. As usual, as long as it's only an option then great.
