I don't quite know what the deal is there. ED might be able to chime in. Originally the word was that the fix was in a K7 beta. Then it got ported to K8. But it's yet to appear in K7. I do think they owe K7 owners - who have had terrible performance for 2 years - the fix. It exists after all.ROTMetro wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 10:13 pmCrazy that they locked such a needed performance fix behind an upgrade. I found a fix:BJ wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 2:36 pm Anyone know how to get Kontakt 8 to scan the libraries again cause mine only goes up till L. I can’t find anything after L with search either.
Edit: looks like you have to re-scan in Komplete Kontrol this will take a while.
Edit2: doesn't seem to be working. How do I get Kontakt 8 to rescan to show all libraries
Edit3: when I switch to classic view all libraries are in the left pane but I still can't see them in the new browser.
Edit4: I think I'm gonna have to re-install all the libraries that don't show up.
Delete this file : C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Kontakt 8\Komplete.db3
After that run Kontakt 8 in standalone as administrator and wait for the library to fully be scanned before you close it again, for me with Komplete 15 CE and a bunch of other libraries it took about 30 minutes for everything to be scanned.
It still didn't add ALL libraries for me. Zero-G Phaedra is missing for me. I tried changing the location and fixing it in Native Access but that didn't add it.

I would pay extra for an optional Komplete package that included:bmanic wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 2:10 pm Hmm.. what a complete mess this new Native Access is. Anybody else missing the Izotope Ozone 10 standard? I own Komplete 14 Ultimate and there is no sign of the Ozone install anywhere.
EDIT: Oops, I thought I was in the other NI thread. Sorry for the off topic. I'll still leave the question here just in case somebody has the same issue. Please PM me if you have a possible solution. And yes, I have contacted support but it's still not resolved.
EDIT2: Wow, it finally appeared when I forgot NI Access running in the background for about 2 hours. Guess the servers are just hammered.
EDIT3: .. and the download fails.
EDIT4: Restarted computer after disabling iCloud Private Relay thingy (as per NI support article) and now the whole product is missing again. Sigh..
Great work NI. What a wonderful piece of brilliant coding. You should be proud.
1. No software product support from NI at all
2. Standard individual installers for all products
3. Serial number registration, online or offline, and no Native Access needed.
I think $50 added to the price of Komplete, would be a fair deal. And $2 each extra for
individual product ourchases.
Maybe call it the 'Complete Komplete Access' version.
Cheers

No Battery 4 fixes or improvements? If that aint a giant middle finger, I don't know what is. What a yawn of an "update".

It might be worth checking the Libraries dialogue box in the settings to see if it's set as hidden: it's possible it's scanned the library and added it but thinks it should hide it in the library pane.BJ wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 10:53 pm It still didn't add ALL libraries for me. If it's not in that list, what may work is deleting the Phaedra authorisation/configuration record in the registry and then locating in NA. It's clearly a bug in the K8 code that needs reporting if that hasn't happened already, but I'm guessing there's something it doesn't like about the config information in the registry that's causing K8 to skip it.

I think it has something to do with the fact that Phaedra has recieved an update it’s now Phaedra Redux but it’s no longer a Kontakt Player library. I had kept the old version installed because it still showed up in the libraries tab.Gamma-UT wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2024 8:04 amIt might be worth checking the Libraries dialogue box in the settings to see if it's set as hidden: it's possible it's scanned the library and added it but thinks it should hide it in the library pane.BJ wrote: Mon Sep 23, 2024 10:53 pm It still didn't add ALL libraries for me. If it's still there and has the .nicnt file and registry entry, it should still show up – assuming it still runs. I don't have Phaedra so can't check on mine but I do have some old libraries and they're fine.BJ wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2024 10:37 am I think it has something to do with the fact that Phaedra has recieved an update it’s now Phaedra Redux but it’s no longer a Kontakt Player library. I'd file it as a bug with NI.

No surprise k8 new browser won't display my older libraries. But the old view is still there, and they show there, i'm not complaining.
The chords tool are nice, but dont all daws have that nowadays?

These are included. At least in my Komplete 15 collector's edition.N3ee wrote: Thu Sep 12, 2024 1:56 pm Has anyone noticed the new three vst effects from GR7 are not included in any Komplete 15 editions?

Guitar Rig still takes a long ass time to load though but maybe it was because it was the first time I opened it.

No, it doesn’t work like that. The installer will tell you xx gb but it only downloads what’s required. Weird way of presenting it to the user though, dayjob wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2024 5:17 am launched native access earlier and it wanted to install a 36gb content expansion for kontakt 7. ugh. no thanks. why? i feel like doing a fresh install and installing even fewer things from komplete. i have it pretty stripped back but sheesh...
