Great stuff, although for me, nothing beats their first album. Few bands in the genre can even begin to touch how desperate that Dismal sounded.

I'll have to check out Dismal sometime, I kind of discovered Grief via Saint Vitus so of course I bought the album with Angry Man on..

Which reminds me I must check out Wino's new album, although I don't know what any of his solo stuff sounds like I'm guessing I'm likely to be disappointed as I'm going through a bit of a sludge/doom period at the moment.

Unless things have changed since I last checked, Dismal has been out of print for some time now, and is a bit of a pain to find used.

That stuff needs to be reissued pronto.

What I've heard isn't too bad, it's certainly a lot more upbeat and classic rock oriented than Vitus, but I much prefer Spirit Caravan and The Hidden Hand when it comes to recent Wino stuff.
