I'm definitely hearing good things there. Sync and crossmod are two great places to test a synth and those LaserHarp patches sound great. Then with the stereo effect of the voice pans. Nice stuff. Hopefully the rest of us will get to try it out tomorrow.

Here is a demo of a step sequencer patch that could be played polyphonically:
OBSession - Dreaming Of Tangerines IW_1
This is a single instance and no external FXs are used.

Can it do that that dub-step thing where it goes wah-Wuh-WUH-kerrang-[sound of a fox screaming]-ung-cha-wuh-WUH-WUH. If not, I'll be looking elsewhere when it comes to making my next banger.
That Tangerine patch sounds great. Never listened to Tangerine Dream so I don't know if you're recreating a particular patch or just going for a certain vibe, but I really like what I'm hearing.

The step sequence is done with the Step LFO and both LFOs can use their own Steps.
This can be also used to modulate the filter and other stuff.

The Step LFO can be also used as a Gate sequencer:
OBSession - Supergate IW_1
This is a single instance and no external FXs are used.
The Unison voice detune is done with the voice trimmers.

This is a Dual mode Bass patch that uses 2 Step LFOs:
OBSession - Arp & Seq Basses IW_1
Realtime modulation of the Resonance (Modwheel) and the Cutoff (Aftertouch) is used in this demo.
This is a single instance and no external FXs are used.

This is another dual sequence patch that uses 2 Step LFOs (while this is a single mode patch):
OBSession - PSR J0737-3039 IW_1
That patch is played polyphonically using both hands.
This is a single instance and no external FXs are used.

So far the sound samples are very underwhelming. Emulating an OB Xa only to make the same generic sounds you could do with pretty much any soft synth.

I would like to hear what you can do with it. Expect nothing short of amazing. Or.. it doesn't matter if it's Obsession. Can I please hear what you do with other synths?christian f. wrote: Tue Jun 16, 2020 11:00 pm So far the sound samples are very underwhelming. But I get you. I've been underwhelmed with an OB-Xa as well. But Obsession can do what it does, and so much more.
