a.) All is forgiven.

b.) We want you to DO IT ALL. A knob for each and every one of these unlimited oscillators and filters and effects and modulators you’ll give us included. Thanks.
A dedicated hardware controller is a great idea :tu:
No auto tune...

And what I mean is not that KK controllers with just 8 knobs, I would like a controller with the full synth interface- 70 or more knobs/sliders.
I always hoped that they would do for a synth what they did for a Groovebox/Drum Maschine with Maschine - that is full hardware control on the hardware, while the software lives in the computer. Unfortunately though they went in the opposite direction and simplified things even more than before when they had Kore. They used to have knobs and buttons, and an easy way to jump right to a page. Then they took the buttons away and had just 8 knobs (which had to be used for buttons too now) and just page next/previous one at a time. So they went all in in the simplified control.

NKS2 has improved this somewhat. For a start now you can - once again - have controls grouped together into screens that can be jumped between using the 8 buttons. I think if/when a Massive X version is released with fuller automation available it would have this sort of implementation.

A serious powerhouse that is packed with the best DSP that NI has to offer...

And they've been doing the music/DSP shuffle for quite a while now...
The feedback path, together with the polyphonic effects and filter models, really makes it stand out. I’ve been feeding it simple sine waves with a bit of wanderlust at the end of the chain. It’s so lively and beautiful.

Bought the crossgrade, loved the sounds in the demo, inspiring. Praying for the best NI woke up because there's finally movement in the company. Something is happening.
First and foremost: We need great songs (again)

I've been nagging them on their YouTube channel about exposing all parameters to the DAW/Controller and they responded to my comment saying they are "taking notes for future improvements". I bid you all to nag them on ALL their channels. I don't think they actually know a) how good their synth is and b) how botched their synth is. LET THEM KNOW!

Failing that, we can get out the pitchforks and torches and meet up in Hamburg.
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

Its a long way to walk from hamburg to N.I's hq in berlin or where you just interested in having a good excuse to see the delights of the Reeperbahn. :)
Mac mini m4 pro, Reaper, too many plugins, Modal Argon8, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.

They know. They just don't care.

I think when you do feedback and audio rate modulation stuff as well as Massive X does, for that many voices, you have to have some limitations or it ends up not really running well on too many machines... like Serum 2. I love that synth, but it's making me consider upgrading my processor.

If enough people tell them, they will care. That's the whole point of customers complaining. Comprende?

When MX came out, it barely ran on my then-CPU, i.e. it wasn’t usable. But with modern CPUs that’s not an issue anymore, there’s plenty of headroom to do advanced stuff.

Therefore I’ve concluded that NI should really go for it. Like Serum 2, they should push the limits of what’s possible without looking back. It is really important (to feed Monark into a Comb while being in a feedback loop full of state of the art fx, modulated by unlimited and easy to use polyphonic MSEGs).

First crash on FL yesterday, just from changing preset while looping. I got a big gray warning box, specifically said Massive X has crashed, but I did a Cntrl Alt Del and shut it all down. Thank goodness for Autosave because when I open the file all the work I just did disappeared but there's that Revert to last saved version, and there it was - Massive X and all. Played fine after that. It seemed to be one certain preset it did not like but now I don't know which one.
